It provides quality of infrastructure and facilities are good as compared to fee structure.
Placements: In our college, the placements scenario are not good. The students pursue their internships through off-campus internships drive, and with the placements the condition is same. The students graduating from this college are the major portion of students who go for higher studies, and only a few percent of students opt for placements.
Infrastructure: In this college, hostel facilities are not provided.
Faculty: The academic curriculum is on the difficult side, and the curriculum is slightly enclined toward the core mathematics, and applied mathematics slightly lags. Faculty members are very good and supportive. The research facilities are also good. The courses offered by this college are the top of the line. They are very motivated. The courses that are taught are very fast.
Other: In this college, events are not held.

Review of St. Xavier's College Kolkata.
Placements: Placements of our college are quite good and supportive. About 45% of the students who applied for placements got placed. The highest salary package offered in 2018 was approximately 17 LPA. NGOs and other companies also provided various internship opportunities for students.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, but it is not modern. The college library is very good, in which students can have access to Wi-Fi, various books and computers. In the canteen, the price of the food is reasonable. There is also a common room. There is a gym in our college with all kinds of equipment. The college has a big laboratory where our practical classes were conducted.
Faculty: In this college, faculty members in our mathematics department are excellent. In our course, there are 2 semesters per year for a three-year course of B.Sc mathematics honours. Semester exams were not quite easy, but it is also not that difficult. Teachers are very helpful, and most of them are PhD holders.
Other: I have chosen this course because I have a great interest in B.Sc mathematics. Faculty members for this course are good. In our college, we have lots of activities, which give us a lot of opportunities to work with big corporates. We have inter-college competitions in all the fields of interest like singing, dancing, debates, etc.

St. Xavier's College is very good.
Placements: Our college provides placement facilities. Good companies like Google, Microsoft, Deloitte, HCL, Swiggy and many other companies visit our college for placements. If you are in B.Com Honours, then there is no doubt that you will get excellent placement facilities. I suggest students just focus on your study and work hard.
Infrastructure: I completed my graduation in mathematics in the current year. It has a pretty decent atmosphere to study. This college is renowned for its academic excellence. It is a very good college, and it also has great hostel facilities. There is very good accommodation in the hostel, and most of the hostel friends are helpful and do group study.
Faculty: Faculty members are awesome and great here. We all know that recently St. Xavier's College has ranked 7th position in all over India. Teachers are very helpful, and they always help you to understand. I learned many valuable things from teachers.

Once a Xaverian is always a Xaverian. Xavotsab is the biggest festival in Kolkata.
Placements: About 5% of students get placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is about 12LPA. I can't talk about the average salary but the lowest salary is I think that 30,000. The top recruiting companies are Kotak Mahindra Bank AXIS BANK, Dell. About 10% of students got internships from my course.
Infrastructure: All classrooms are well-equipped with sufficient light and fans obviously we have free Wi-Fi in our college campus. We have a big central library which has about 50k books our lab are also well-equipped. It provides a good canteen all kinds of sports and games and medical facilities.
Faculty: I am studying in B.Sc. Mathematics Honours course. The teachers are really helpful they are highly qualified. But they are just down to earth. The teaching quality is superior. And the curriculum based on CBCS. It actually doesn't make us industry ready but make us ready for any competitive exams.
Other: I love this Mathematics and it is the best Honours college in West Bengal so I choose the course in this college. One of college fest Xavotsab is the biggest festival in Kolkata. It has about 8k student capacity. As it is in the middle of the city Park Street show the connectivity no doubt is very good. They also provide various kinds of scholarships for economically weaker sections. We are allowed to do various kinds of social services also.

Our college has good infrastructure, discipline and planning, but there are some bad teachers.
Placements: Very few students from our course opted for registering for placements in the placement cell. Until now, 2 students out of them got placed, while others are opting for mostly higher studies and MBA. The highest salary package offered was 11 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered would be 3 LPA-4 LPA. Google, Microsoft and ICICI Bank would be among the best companies for our course. Almost 100% of the students who applied for internships got them. They got internships in Ernst and Young and many other companies.
Infrastructure: Our college has the best library in Kolkata. It has a good system and takes care of books and also brings new books, which is also an apt thing. Our labs are also quite good. Though the lab assistants are a bit rude, they had a great experience. Classrooms are not like classrooms of government colleges. Rooms are cleaned regularly. Wi-Fi facility is good but only in specific places of the college. It's not properly distributed all over the campus. Our hostel is also just the same as our college. It has clean rooms and a bit of discipline, along with some strict study time. The food served was the worst before, but it is improving now. However, it was never unhealthy, but it was very tasteless. Medical facilities are quite good, and there is a hostel doctor for an emergency. Sports and games are regularly conducted. In my 3 years, I spent playing football only.
Faculty: I am not at all impressed by faculty members of our department, and I don't know about the faculty members of other departments. There are 2 teachers named Pabitra Debnath and Gaurav Tripathi who teaches really bad. They don't treat students equally. However, there are some great teachers like Anindya and Rabiul Islam. The course curriculum is relevant, but if there would be better faculty members, then the course curriculum would be better.
Other: I chose this course because I liked mathematics and wanted to be better in mathematics. But I didn't enjoy the course much here. I wish that there should be better faculty members and better distribution of the syllabus. Events are always top-notch here, and our college organises the best fest in Kolkata here. You can google it. Fests are conducted throughout the year, and it's fun to study here. The campus crowd is a bit with some attitude but good. Scholarships are provided for students who get superb marks in academics. Extracurricular activities are also a part of college life here.
