Review of B.K. Birla College of Arts, Science and Commerce.

Placements: Placements were not available in this college. However, our college makes students industry-ready by providing good laboratory skills as well as teaching theory well. For M.Sc course, our college provides placements. When students pass out from our college, they had vast knowledge which was helpful to grab jobs in the industry.

Infrastructure: It is the second best college for biotechnology after Ruia college. Hence I decided to opt for Kalyan to reduce travelling stress. Our college was well-equipped and provides all facilities which were essential for a student. I love this college library the most. Students had different floors for various genres of books. Teachers always support and motivate students. It is situated in Kalyan and not in a sobo location. This is a good college to study. Our college provides all the necessary things and equipment. The classroom and laboratory were good, students can get every equipment which was related to their field and course.

Faculty: The quality of teaching was excellent. Our curriculum was updated with all the recent development in the field. It makes students job-ready.

Other: Our campus was better than other colleges. The best part of our college was more greenery, and there were trees. Students also had a huge gymkhana where many indoor sports facilities were available. Our teachers were also great helpful, supportive, and friendly. The location of our college was very safe and it can handle all the emergencies.

I would recommend joining this college because it is worth it.

Placements: Placements are provided according to your hard work, smart work, merit list, your percentage, your activeness in college, and your activities. Placements are provided by good companies. It depends on your eligibility. Our college is one of the best colleges for B.Sc and M.Sc. courses.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available on campus and the library and labs are kept clean with appropriate lab equipment. Classrooms are ventilated with enough space and good quality benches. The canteen provides good quality food with cleanliness and hygiene. A medical kit is available and we also have a proper gym available for sports addicted persons. The ground is properly managed.

Faculty: The quality of the teaching staff is excellent Each faculty provides excellent, and enough notes to gain the best knowledge. Teaching quality is also great, and we have well-qualified teachers. Exams are at the best knowledge level and they provide a question bank and sample papers that give us enough idea about the examination pattern, etc.

Other: I chose B.Sc biotechnology because it has much scope in the future. After completion of the M.Sc, we can get a handsome salary with good placements in college. We can also do a Ph.D. with is high profile thing and also enhance your knowledge at the top. I don't think there is anything to improve because everything is at its best. The college conducts different kinds of events, fest, and counseling rounds to make students feel like a family together. It's worth taking admission to this college.

I am absolutely satisfied with our college, and our college is good.

Placements: Placements are not available in Birla College for B.Sc in biotechnology. However, our college makes students industry-ready by providing good lab skills as well as teaching theory well. For M.Sc course, our college provides placements. When students pass out from our college, they will have vast knowledge which is helpful to grab jobs in the industry.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really good here. There are 3 labs, especially for biotechnology department, which include the main lab, PTC lab and ATC lab. Labs are really good and include high-tech equipment. There is safety in labs. Labs are very spacious so that every student get enough space for their work station.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified here. Their teaching quality is excellent and very much understandable. They make students industry-ready by focusing more on providing lab skills, including conducting practicals many times. Our college provides courses like chromatography and bioanalytical sciences.

Let's know about the Birla college.

Placements: The percentage of students who are getting placed is not determined and fixed because it certainly depends on the ability, eligibility and the performance of the students. The highest and the average packages go up to 1 to 2 lpa. Healthcare companies come and hire the students. The percentage of students who got an internship totally depends on their hard work.

Infrastructure: The facilities provided by the college are the best. We are provided with good quality of labs and equipment. The classrooms are well ventilated and library has all kinds of books available. The extracurricular activities are also conducted. We've an access to the Wi-Fi, we also have a canteen in our college which is hygienic and good food services are provided. Medical facilities are available 24 hours. The sports and games activities are also available.

Faculty: All the teachers have completed their Ph.D. and higher education. They provide good knowledge to the students and their quality of teaching is the best. Both, online as well as offline mode classes are taken by the teachers. According to the students, the semester exams are not that difficult. It depends on how much you have studied, it is easy to pass if you have learned or studied the reference books or notes provided.

Other: I have chosen this course because it has a good scope. The best thing about this course is that I can go in various kinds of job.

Dissatisfied for placement.

Placements: Placement was not there in college for biotechnology and many other courses. Placement offers is there for only IT and CS students but the company frequency was very less. Placement seats was also very less and students selection frequently was also less.

Infrastructure: College facilities and infrastructure was good but was not good enough to provide all the benefits to students. Laboratory was well-equipped with equipment that one need in for work and availability of books in library was best and facilities were good of library.

Faculty: Faculty of our biotechnology course was best and they were highly qualified and knowledgeable with the current situation. They were well about everything and helpful in the time of need. They provided us the practical exposure and experience of the theories.
