Our college is good for students for their overall development.

Placements: 60–70 percent of students are placed. The highest package is 16.5 LPA by Vedanta, and the lowest is 7–8 LPA by JSW. Top recruiters include Aditya Birla Group, JSW, Vedanta, etc. Till now, no one else. Vedanta is also in mining, so many students focused on the GATE exam because in mining, the syllabus is easier compared to other courses.

Infrastructure: Labs, classrooms, and libraries are average. Food quality is average but good. Hostel facilities are below average. Hostels are not maintained regularly. Upgradation is needed in this college, especially in labs, as many equipments are not working properly. They should upgrade them.

Faculty: All teachers are highly qualified and very helpful. They guide us like children. The difficulty level is medium. The passing percentage is 80–90 percent. Some issues arise while taking exams, like the syllabus not being completed. We have to complete our syllabus by ourselves.

Other: I chose this course because the mining branch is famous in BIT for placements, and the GATE syllabus is easier compared to other courses. I wish the classrooms and auditorium would be upgraded. Events are very few.

It has absolutely amazing faculty members and good placements.

Placements: 92.6 percent of students are approximately placed in my course. The highest package offered in my course is 18 LPA. The average package is 10 LPA. The lowest package is 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies in my course are Aditya Birla, Adani Power Plant, JSW, etc. 100 percent of students get internships in my course in companies like BCCL, NCL, CMPDI, etc. Roles offered in my course are manager, assistant manager, executive engineer, safety officer, etc.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available, but labs, classrooms, and libraries are very good. All facilities in my hostel are good. The quality of food available in my mess and canteen is very nice and well-cooked. Medical facilities are okay. Sports and games are too good at my college.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and kind as well. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable, and because of this, the teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams in my college are neither too easy nor too difficult. The pass percentage is approximately 94 percent.

Best place to invest your 4 years of B.Tech.

Placements: 30 students got placed from our course out of 51 students. Apart from this more than 10 students have cracked GATE exams while 8 students are under 100 rank. The highest package is offered by Vedanta 16.5 LPA. Apart from this, companies like ABG, JSW, JPL, and L&T also recruit.

Infrastructure: Since the college is very old. Infrastructure is also old but the facilities are good. The quality of mess food differs from one hostel to another hostel, overall it's average. There is also a central library to issue any book. There is a library card and no such charges.

Faculty: Talking about my course, professors are very helpful and the quality of teaching is excellent and almost everyone has a degree of master's and Ph.D. They are very strict towards the study and attendance. Professors of my course mostly focus on GATE exams.

Other: I chose this college because it is famous for its mining branch which has a good placement ratio and has opportunities in PSUs. Apart from the academy in terms of extracurricular activities, there are many things to do in college. Many fests and events are organized by many clubs.

Placements: BIT Sindri, Dhanbad, Jharkhand, is one of the prestigious institutions of Jharkhand. It has a good placement rate and have good alumni network. The highest placement offer is around 16.5 LPA offered by Vedanta and the average package is around 5-6 LPA.

Infrastructure: There are all kinds of facilities that are really required for the students. It has workshops and labs, like Chemistry, Computer, Physics, Mechanics, BEE labs, and a few more. There is a central library that offers good academic and non-academic books.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, well-qualified and knowledgeable. Professors are really determined towards their subjects. The curriculum is also in a structured way, which makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not that difficult, the questions being asked from the course that has been completed.

Placements: I am a student of the Mining Engineering branch of BIT Sindri. In our branch, approximately all students are placed. The highest package of our branch is approximately 16 LPA and the lowest is approximately 8 LPA. The top recruiter of our college is Vedanta. Approximately 80 percent of students get internships in our branch.

Infrastructure: In our college, BIT Sindri, there are good facilities and the infrastructure is not so good but average. Free Wi-Fi is available in the library and there are various types of labs in the college. BIT Sindri has a good library. There are many hostels, and the mess is not so good.

Faculty: In our college, BIT Sindri, our faculty is very helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. All faculty members have done their Ph.D. or M.Tech from top Indian colleges. Our course curriculum is relevant and makes the students ready for industrial use. In our college, the semester exams are not so hard.

Hello, BIT-Sindri does not take admission on the basis of JEE Main score. It has its own exam called JCECE and students are admitted on the basis of score in it. So, if you want admission here, then please appear for JCECE exam. Last date for application form submission is 25 may and exam date is 5
