M.Tech. in Construction Technology - Batch of 2020
Offered by BMS College of Engineering
4.6

I highly recommend this college.
Placements: Only a few companies will come for recruitment. Our batch 2018-2020 got in between pandemic duration, that time only two companies like L& T and WSP were offering. A few students, about 4-7, only got placed in WSP, and L&T. It didn't take any candidates from M.Tech. The average packages were 5-6.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: All classrooms have sophisticated seating arrangements and are well Ventilated. Library duration is from 9 am to 5 pm for all students. Labs are highly maintained will all equipment where high levels of discipline are expected while conducting experiments and all lab technicians are helpful.
Faculty: All teachers are very well trained and qualified from IITs. Teachers having experience of more than 25 years are going to handle the subjects. The course is completely industrial oriented where we will be exploring more practical knowledge. All tests and exams will be conducted strictly. Question is always within the syllabus and evaluates the understanding of concepts.
Other: Construction technology course is aided one, where fee structure is less compared to other unaided courses like transportation and environmental course. Often site or industrial visits might be useful along with the mentor which was not our cup of tea during our course time. There are so many clubs on the campus which will be organising events like signma etc.
