Review of BMS Institute of Technology & Management.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in my course, CSE, is around 78%. The majority are selected in big product-based companies. The highest package is 46.4 LPA. The lowest package is 3.5 LPA, while the average package is around 9 LPA. Top companies that visit are Oracle, Siemens, Deloitte, Microsoft, Rapid, etc. Approximately 75% of students get internships at various tech companies such as Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Oracle, and Tiger Analytics. Top roles grabbed by students are DevOps, Data Engineer, SDE, and Full Stack Developer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is quite modern and well-established. Lab blocks have big and spacious classrooms with projectors and blackboards. Every class has two CCTV cameras installed. The library is very large with a variety of books. Labs contain all the latest and modern equipment. Hostel facilities are also quite good, but the mess food is of average quality, though sometimes it is good. Medical facilities are always available in the hostel. Wi-Fi in the hostel is good, but it sometimes slows down due to technical issues.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. They have immense knowledge in their subjects and are highly qualified. Teaching quality is very good here. The course curriculum is relevant according to today’s market needs. It helps students become industry-ready by gaining various modern-day skills like AI-ML, Cloud, and Cybersecurity. The difficulty of semester-end exams is moderate, but the evaluation of answer sheets is tougher, so it is not very easy to score marks. In some subjects, one can score marks easily by studying one week prior. The pass percentage is around 70%.

It is a good college with decent placements.
Placements: I am a BMSIT student studying in the CSE branch. There are about 900 students. This year, the highest package is 33 LPA, and the average package is 9LPA. The lowest salary package is 4 LPA. In my course, top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Web Services, Deloitte, Siemens Technology, Cognizant, and IBM. 75.37 percent of students got placed.
Infrastructure: In this college, the Wi-Fi speed is of good quality and high-speed in both the college and the hostel. Labs are well-equipped with the latest equipment. Classrooms are big and spacious, with a seating capacity of around 70 students. Medical facilities are good, and a gym is also good.
Faculty: Teachers and staff members here are very helpful to students with their projects and studies. Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant and helps students get industry reviews. Semester exams are so easy.
Other: I chose the CSE department because of its demand in the market, and placements are also very good. Two fests happened in my college life, one is Kalarva and the other is Utsaha Vaibhava. My campus is greenery, full of trees and animals like monkeys and dogs. Campus surroundings are overall good. There are so many activities happening in college related to teaching, sports, etc. The college also provides scholarships.

Electrical life in a college of good placements.
Placements: Electrical branch has a placement rate of about 80–90 percent, with the highest around 20 LPA, the average around 6–7 LPA, and the lowest around 2–3 LPA. Top companies that visited here are Tata, Amazon, TCS, and more. About 75–80 percent get internship offers from companies like BHEL, BEL, and ISRO also. Roles are technical assistant, power engineer, assistant engineer, and many more. There is stipend also provided on the basis of their work. So maintain your CGPA and learn some basic coding also for a better job.
Infrastructure: The class takes place in the academic block of our college, which has fans, good tables, as well as a good amount of light in the whole class. The speed of Wi-Fi within the campus is very good anywhere you go. Labs are within the academic block as well as in the BSN block of our college. The library is also in our college, which is in very good shape for study purposes. There is a variety of food for each day of the week in both the mess and canteen. Medical facilities are also there for anyone, and you can play some sports in the college ground in free time.
Faculty: The semester exams are a little bit hard compared to other streams as it is one of the toughest branches, but they can be scored well if you have studied almost all the topics very well. The pass percentage is around 70–80 percent. The course is very nice for the upcoming years as it has very good scope. Students will get everything they want from this college and also they will build themselves. The teachers here have very good command in each and every subject, with some of them holding and also getting higher salaries upon their skills too. So the level is okay.
Other: I have a good interest in the electrical department, that’s why I chose this course in BMSIT, and I think the resources this college provides are the best in the top 10 COMEDK colleges. The things which need to be improved here are that some more qualified teachers should come under this stream and have some input in coding subjects as well. There are two events happening in our college which are Kalarva and Utsaha Vaibhav every year. Every day there is an event going on, the crowd here is very big, but connectivity is very poor, and the whole campus is very green.

AI/ML branch of BMSIT college.
Placements: AI/ML have placement rate of about 80-85 percent in every semester. The highest package is found to be 46 LPA, average is 8 LPA and the lowest is around 3-4 LPA. The top companies which come here are Dell, Google, Rapid, TCS and many more. More than 1000 internships available here in every semester with some paid too. The roles which they get by the company are based on their skills as well as CGPA they have till 3rd year. So keep CGPA above 8, it will be good for placements.
Infrastructure: The classes of AI/ML run in the BSN block which are big enough for 70+ students. Labs are located there itself in the BSN block for all streams. The speed of Wi-Fi is around 100 Mbps and there is a library for all the students in the BSN block which has a good collection of articles and books. The food quality in hostel is very good all the day; for emergency there is medical staff too with an ambulance van. Ground is there for sports and skill lab for indoor games. Overall it is good with a gym also provided.
Faculty: The semester exams are of good level in which you can score well if you have read important topics and it is of 100 marks; about 80-90 percent get passed in every semester exams. There are two IA tests also of 40 marks for 2 or 3 modules. The course curriculum is relevant as it gives good idea of both coding as well as machine learning. The students will gain a good level of ideas for their future placements. The teachers here are very helpful in nature and they all have higher degrees in their subjects with good idea.
Other: My rank was above 10k; that's why I have to choose AI/ML instead of CSE. AI/ML is a good course along with CSE stream. The best things about the course is it contains all things such as coding, machine learning, speaking skills as well as many extra subjects for overall growth. There are two fests happening in our college that are Kalarva and Utsaha Vaibhav. Many events are also there for all types of branches and campus is very good in look as it is covered with green trees; airport and railways are about 20 km from the college which is far.
