Good for middle-class students as it feels affordable.
Placements: The highest package at BIET is approximately 64 LPA. Around 76% of students get placed in companies. The lowest package is around 3–4 LPA. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Wipro, Physics Wallah, Mahindra, HCL, HLS Asian, etc. Almost every eligible student gets an internship.
Infrastructure: There are 11 hostels, 9 hostels for boys and 2 hostels for girls. Wi-Fi facilities are available all over the college campus and hostels. Classrooms are well arranged in separate blocks for different branches. A common library for all students and canteens are present in some hostels.
Faculty: Teachers are well-educated and experienced, and have qualified exams. Semester exams are conducted every 3 months, and regular class tests are held once a month. Passing these semester and class tests is easy with a few hours of study. Almost all students pass, though some may get back papers.
Other: Regular events and fests are conducted. All three modes of connectivity are present. Campus is less crowded.

It is the best college for higher studies and competition exam preparation.
Placements: As I am from the ECE branch, there are not enough placements. The highest package is 64 LPA, and the average package is 4 LPA for all branch students. Companies that come are mostly from the software field, like HCL, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, PwC, etc. Almost 90% of students get placed according to their eligibility.
Infrastructure: Overall, the infrastructure of the college is old-fashioned. There are 11 hostels in BIET, Jhansi, in which all-year students live separately. Wi-Fi is provided all over the campus and hostel. The speed is not enough to depend on, as the area is also affected by the speed of the network.
Faculty: Teachers are well-educated and experienced. Some teachers are very irritating and frustrated. Some of them help students with their higher competition exams like GATE, UPSC ESE, etc. There are 2 semester exams in a year. In around 2 months, there is a class test. Exams are not hard enough, and we will pass them easily while learning the night before our exams.
Other: All eligible students get their scholarship with full document verification. I chose a higher branch. I don't have any practical reason to choose it, and I got it according to my JEE rank.

It is good for preparing for higher competitions.
Placements: The placement records of the college are good enough. The average package at the college is around 5 LPA, with the highest package being 64 LPA. Many trusted companies visit the college, such as HCL, Mahindra, and more. The percentage of students who get placed is lower, depending on individual performance.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. It has libraries and Wi-Fi facilities all over the campus, along with digital and normal classrooms. There are well-equipped labs with skilled teachers. The college also has a good central playground for all students. Mess and canteen facilities are available.
Faculty: Faculty members are very experienced and have good knowledge. All are qualified and possess special expertise in their particular subjects. The semester exams are held every three months, with class tests every month. The semester exams are easy enough to pass with class notes and YouTube one-shots.
Other: All eligible students receive their scholarships after full document verification. Events are regularly conducted, and sports events are also held. The college has good connectivity with roads and railways.

It is good for higher exam preparation. It has moderate placements, low fees, and scholarships.
Placements: The highest package is 15 LPA, and the average package ranges from 5-6 LPA in the ECE branch. Top recruiting companies for our course are Godrej, Cadence, HLS Asia, TCS, and Tech Mahindra. 75% of students get placed in the ECE course. Around 50% of students got internships. The college is good for higher competitive exam preparation.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, with very well-equipped laboratories and highly skilled laboratory teachers. The hostel is only for home state students; I didn't get a hostel facility. The campus size is small, but it has a well-maintained environment that is eco-friendly. It provides a good environment for learning purposes.
Faculty: Teachers are of a helping nature. They are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Semester exams are hard and easy enough if we attend our classes and listen to the teacher. The passing marks are 41 out of 100.
Other: I did not choose my branch and I got it randomly according to my JEE marks. The best thing about my course is that there are placements from ECE and it is good for the GATE exam. Events are conducted normally. Scholarships are provided to all eligible candidates if they fill out their forms correctly. Our college organises fests and forums every month.

According to my rank, I am satisfied with the college.
Placements: From a batch of 67, almost 40 students got placed. The average package is 5.5 LPA, the median is 5 LPA, and the highest placement offered this year was 15 LPA. Recruiters are Godrej, Cadence, HLS Asian, L&T, Accenture, etc. Roles such as Analog Design Engineering, Executive Engineering, etc. are offered. Mostly people get internships at a good stipend.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are little bit old, but smart classrooms are available. Wi-Fi in hostels is very good. The library is mostly open except on Sundays and important holidays. 1 main canteen is a college canteen and apart from that, 2 to 3 more canteens are available. Medical facilities are good and the dispensary is mostly open. Sport culture is very good. Labs are a little bit less functional .
Faculty: Teachers are really knowledgeable and IIT qualified. If you go to class, then the teacher tries to give its best to teach you. They take class seriously. The quality is also good; there may be some topics that you don't understand, but you will understand most of the things. Semester exams are not much tough and are easy to score. Some subjects get tough but that's the nature of those subjects. 85 percent of the students get passed.
Other: Tech Fest is organized at a big level in that region. There are lots of councils and clubs that regularly conduct events whole year for students. The campus is very large in size but mostly covered in forest and nature. Scholarships are given by the government. Crowd is little bit less as it has less seat intake. Connectivity is good to the main city, Jhansi and other cities and markets of the city.

Both BIET Jhansi and KNIT Sultanpur accepts JEE Main scores, followed by a counselling process for admission to the BTech programmes. Talking about the 2023 cutoff, BIET Jhansi last round clsoing rank for BTech in CSE was 69144 where as for KNIT Sultanpur, the last round closing ranks stood at 63776 for the General All India category candidates. The cutoff indicates that BTech in CSE at KNIT is more compettitve than BIET Jhansi. Talking about the fees, the total tuition fees for BTech in CSE is INR 2.4 Lacs at BIET, whereas for KNIT, the total tution fee is INR 3.4 lakh. Talking about the ranking, both the institutes are not part of thr NIRF 2023 ranikng. So, candidadtes seeking admisison to any of these two colleges can consider the factors mentioned here to decide which college is better for them to pursue a BTech in CSE degree.
