For the CSE department, an internship is more expensive, but for Mechanical and Civil, it will not cost.

Good learning experience with practical exposure and active campus life.
Placements: I have felt that 5 ratings are not enough to give for our college placements. They give vast opportunities from the 2nd year itself from hackathons to daily training programs. They guide us and help us to secure a good position in an MNC with good packages. I have been placed in the HCL company which was not my domain but I have a great knowledge in the IT field also so what I'm coming to say is we have learned interdisciplinary fields to enrich our knowledge.
Infrastructure: Our department has good infrastructure, such as smart boards, projectors, and Wi-Fi facilities, so that we can learn freely and peacefully. We also have separate labs for each subject like medical instrumentation, Biopac, microprocessor, and anatomy. The hostel facilities are good and they provide a variety of meals regularly. The campus also provides facilities for sports and games such as indoor and outdoor courts encouraging students to stay physically active and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Faculty: The faculty members in our department are helpful, supportive, and knowledgeable in their respective subjects. Most of the professors are well-qualified and have more than 2 years of experience in teaching their skills. The curriculum is relevant to our field and it includes both theoretical and practical sessions. The semesters are moderately difficult. The students who can attend the classes regularly and prepare well from the syllabus can manage the exam without fear and difficulty. The pass percentage is quite good and most of the students will leave the college with good internal and CGPA.
Other: The infrastructure, library resources and academic support help students gain a strong foundation in the field. The learning experiences justify the course fee to a good extent. The campus environment is friendly and we can study together and discuss after college ends. Our college conducts a national-level technical symposium and a cultural fest called Takshashila for 3 days. These activities help the students to relax and also develop leadership skills.

Positive learning atmosphere with good placements and technical exposure.
Placements: I am a second-year student, and I have had opportunities to attend interviews and assessments for CTS, Malaysia Internship, etc. Particularly, my department, CSE (AIML), has wide opportunities in many roles such as Software Developer, AI Developer, Data Analyst, etc. They conduct weekly coding assessments and regular placement training. I have seen companies such as Microsoft, NammaYatri, ServiceNow, Zoho, etc. They offer packages starting from 20 LPA to 60 LPA.
Infrastructure: For me, one of the best things is the Centers of Excellence (COE), such as the AI Lab, Fintech Lab, Robotics Lab (Also known as KUKA), etc. I personally love the KUKA, and we got to interact with many industry professionals during our time in COE. There are over 10 COEs, and it helps us build real-world projects along with academics. The environment is really safe and comfortable for us.
Faculty: The faculty members are supportive and approachable. They not only focus on completing the syllabus but also encourage students to understand the concepts practically. Many classes include presentations, practical sessions, and project-based learning. Internal assessments are conducted regularly before the semester exams, which helps students stay consistent with their studies and prepare well for the end-semester.
Other: What I personally like most about CIT is the exposure it provides to students. They encourage us to explore different domains and choose the career path we are interested in. We had the opportunity to participate in and win in many national hackathons, such as AWS Impact Challenge from IIT Bombay, Bharat Hackathon, and Smart India Hackathon.

It is transforming lives for the best.
Placements: Placements are good. Many students get placed with high packages across India, and some students got placed in companies abroad. 100 percent of students who opted for placements got internships in my course, where experience matters more than initial pay.
Infrastructure: New hostels are built every year. The quality of food is manageable. Wi-Fi is available all around the campus. Lab facilities will have dedicated LAN Ethernet cables. Classrooms are equipped with smart boards. The library is quite good and peaceful for studying.
Faculty: The course curriculum is revised frequently to ensure delivering an up-to-date syllabus to develop industry-ready skills. GATE exam coaching will be given in the 3rd year, which is the best. Aptitude classes and Mathematics classes are fine, which help us adjust our skills for industries from the 1st year.

The college that helps to develop skills and gives good placements
Placements: In our college, Biomedical Engineering has 100% placement for the last 3 years. In our department, the highest package is 10 LPA, and the average package is 6.7 LPA. The top companies are Zifo, Drager, Stryker, and MLSS. The students are also placed in IT companies like Accenture, Cognizant and HCL.
Infrastructure: Our college has many facilities, like Wi-Fi, and the classrooms are equipped with smart boards. So, teachers could teach the concepts in PPT and video format. We have around 5-6 labs dedicated to our department. We had practical demonstrations of the experiments.
Faculty: The teachers were very helpful and qualified. They teach the concepts crisp and clear using PPT and video. We had brainstorming sessions, quiz and weekly tests. We would have semester exams every 3 months (each semester). The semester exams are a bit tough.
Other: I had a keen interest in the biomedical field, so I could help in the medical field and learn more about medical equipment. In our college, every year, a national level symposium is conducted that helps us showcase our leadership skills.

The college that provides 100% placement continuously with a friendly environment
Placements: Our department has 100% placements for the past 3 years. Most of our students have been placed in core companies like Zifo, Drager, and MLSS. Students who have an interest in IT companies have placed in Accenture, Cognizant, HCL, and LTI Mindtree.
Infrastructure: In our department, the classrooms are well-equipped with Wi-Fi and smart boards. The classes have been taught through PPT and video that explain the concept. We have access to a library with many IEEE papers and books related to the subject.
Faculty: The teachers were very helpful and qualified. Their teaching method was usually done through PPT and video concepts. It was very helpful and easy to understand the concepts. If we had any doubts, we could clarify them with them at any time. The staff were so friendly with the student.
Other: I chose Biomedical Engineering because I had a keen interest in the medical field. I couldn't apply to any medical college, but here I could find the biomedical field. I could be able to design and improve the medical field.

Comprehensive insights into the faculty, placement, and infrastructure of CIT.
Placements: CIT's Career Development Center stands out for initiating placement training right from the 1st semester. Every year, 95 to 96 percent of students are successfully placed, with packages ranging from 6 LPA to above 20 LPA, including several dream offers. Students are trained in dedicated core skill batches such as CodeBees for first-year students, and as they progress, they are upgraded to the Software Development Engineer (SDE) track. CIT consistently achieves exceptional placement records with top-tier companies like Microsoft, ServiceNow, Cisco, TCS, and many more, offering marquee and dream packages.
Infrastructure: Chennai Institute of Technology (CIT) offers a well-maintained campus with modern labs and good learning facilities. Hostels are safe, inside the campus, and provide a student-friendly environment with decent amenities. Overall, CIT gives a comfortable campus life with good academics and supportive infrastructure.
Faculty: The faculty in my course are approachable and actually put effort into making sure we understand the concepts, not just finish the syllabus. The curriculum is updated often, and most subjects include practical exposure, which really helps during placements. Exams are conducted regularly, and while they are manageable, you need to stay consistent because internals and arraignment carry good weight. Overall, the teaching quality, course structure, and exam pattern feel balanced and student-friendly. The courses are industry-focused with strong placement support.
