Chitkara University does not provide any additional entrance examination for admission. There are two main criterias for B.Tech. First of all, the candidates must pass their 10+2 with a minimum of 60% marks of the total marks (mandatory subjects are Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) in any stream. And secondly, candidates are required to appear in national-lavel entrance examination, for example JEE Main (mandatory for 2023 batch).

The admission shall be made on the All-India Rank (AIR) of JEE Main-2024. The cutoff rank for different branches may vary depending on the availability of seats and the number of applicants.

If you have scored 70% in JEE Main, your expected percentile score would be between 90 and 923. This means your expected rank would be between 90,000 and 1,10,000.
