Do not take admission in the mechanical branch.
Placements: The placements are not available for mechanical branch students. The companies are below average and offer a lower package to the students, for the students who don’t get selected in the core branches. The mechanical students expect core branch companies but do not get them. The placement of the mechanical branch is the worst.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is just average or below the average. The Wi-Fi is very bad, and the labs don’t have particular machines for the mechanical engineering students, and there are no practical works. The classrooms are just okay. The food served in the canteen is okay, and the hostel is very bad. The hostel environment is not good. The students are doing whatever they want. Water taps are unhygienic, and toilets are too dirty. The events are good, but the scholarships are not available for the students.
Faculty: The faculty members of CGC Landran have less teaching skills, and doubt clearance is not there. They are just interested in completing the course no matter the students gain the knowledge or not. The course is not clarified to the students. One faculty teaches more than one subject, and there are no permanent faculty for the particular subject.

CGC is the placements hub for IT students.
Placements: The placements are very good if you're a computer science student, but for ME, the percentage is low as compares to IT companies. Think first while joining, if you are okay to join an IT company like TCS or Infosys, then this college is for you. They don't provide good internships for the last semester, so for that, you have to find out the way.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good as you see in Punjab songs. Many of them are shot here. Labs, classrooms, games are good, but there is no CNC operator in the college. So ultimately, the students get no practical skills, and you cannot survive in core industry. They provide placements training side by side to improve the number of placements.
Faculty: The faculty are good, and some of the teachers were very good. If we talk about the course, it is the same in every Indian college. Assignments, monthly test, semester exam, practicals, projects, etc. are a part of it. In my opinion, it always depends on you if you want to study or not.
Other: Events, haha, LOL. CGC is known for events, and every week, something new happens here. Parivarten is the 2-day festival organised here and the best singers like RDB, Badshah etc. come for live shows. Extracurricular activities are available like basketball, badminton, cricket, etc.
