CMR College of Engineering and Technology College review.
Placements: Students do well in academics and actively improve their skills, and get placed earlier. Some of our Seniors have recently been recruited as interns by Catalog with an offer of a 25 LPA package. Some other students are placed with a stipend of 45,000 per month with a 40 LPA PPO at Autodesk, and 1 Lakh per month as interns with an 18 LPA PPO at Cisco. The highest package given to anyone from our college is 60 LPA, while the average is nearly 40 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure includes essential amenities such as a clean water supply, spacious labs, a large auditorium and playground, a well-stocked library, and well-maintained classrooms and canteen. Hostel accommodation is also provided, along with transportation facilities for students without personal vehicles. Mess service is hygienic, and the food menu is acceptable, they need to add more food items liked by students.
Faculty: Faculty members and staff are good here in their respective fields. During the first year, the teaching style closely resembled school-level instruction, which helped in the transition. Annual exams are not too difficult. Academic achievements are celebrated, and top-ranking students receive recognition.

The environment in the college has been excellent throughout my academics.
Placements: Approximately 67% of the students got placed in the companies, especially in our course. The highest salary offered in our course is 7 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and average is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies like JK Construction, DLF, and Tata Pvt Ltd. Approximately 73% of the students got their internship certificates in the companies over 6-month internship period. Top roles offered in my course are structural engineer and construction management.
Infrastructure: In our department, the facilities are amazing. They are providing many facilities like AC classrooms, library, Wi-Fi router, auditorium, seminar halls, and project labs. Hostel is good with facilities like a variety of food items in kitchen and canteen. The rooms are neat and clean. Medical support is there for the students. The games are also unlimited at the college.
Faculty: Faculty members are amazing and very much helpful for the students in clearing the doubts. They are highly qualified and well-knowledgeable in their subjects by doing the PhD. Course curriculum of our course is relevant beacuse it gives the best results to the students. The final exams are application-based exams so we have to study the concepts clearly. Every year, on average 65% of the students will pass.
Other: I chose this course to convert my passion into a profession. I have good interest in this course, so I chose this course. Improvements I wish are increasing the equipments in the laboratory will be great. Many entertainment events like cultural activities, fests, farewells, freshers party, crowd, meetings, tours, concerts, etc., are amazing at the college.

CMR College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: Generally, in my course, around 90 percent of the students get placed, but they need to meet the eligibility criteria of what a student needs to achieve to be in the placement cell, which is difficult for many students. Many companies come to recruit on campus, but the major recruiting companies are Capgemini, Amazon, TCS, Infosys, and Wipro. They generally hire managers and freshers. The highest package offered last year by Amazon was 53 LPA, and the lowest was around 2 LPA. Internships are not many in the college, and only the most interested students get them.
Infrastructure: The college is not that big, but not small either. Collectively, all of the CMR Group of Institutions have a very big campus and space. Wi-Fi is generally not given to students in the college, and the cellular signals are also weak on campus as it is located outside the city. I am not staying in the hostel, but according to my hostel friends, the rooms are spacious and clean, and it is a big building. However, the food does not meet the standard of what they paid for; moreover, the college hostel is expensive.
Faculty: The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:22. We have mentors to guide us throughout the course. In the first semester, we had PPS Mam, who didn't give much information about the subject, so I didn’t learn much. In the first semester, we had a matrices and calculus subject where the faculty taught us very well. There are 5 exams overall: the first mid in the first two months of the semester, lab internals, the second mid, external laboratory exams, and semester-end exams.
Other: I got admission to this college through the TS ECET entrance examination, where I chose this college as an alternative to others because it is the best college for my rank of 26,000. The scholars don’t have much in terms of facilities. Generally, the process for the fresher's event happens in November or December, which is not that good. We have the annual cultural fest called Asura, typically conducted in April or May. A technical festival is held, but it is not regular; it depends on the mode of the management.

It's just a normal situation to study in this college. I would rate this college as average.
Placements: 50-60% of the students got placed with the salary package of 4 LPA. Common companies visit our college but most of the companies select 2 to 3 students Fewer number of students got the internship. Internships are not mostly provided in our college they should be got by students from off campus. There would be fewer companies that would take more students.
Infrastructure: The college has normal facilities. Labs are good but there would be no fans according to the strength of the class. The library is a beautiful place in the college. The food canteen has expensive rates. The college will negate the games for students who are interested in them.
Faculty: Some of the teaching staff is good some are improper. Exams would be conducted well the student who prepares can clear the exam well. The pass percentage is approximately 36%. They help and clarify the doubts of students when he/she is interested in studying.
Other: There are fewer cultural activities.
