This is one of the best technical universities in Tamil Nadu.
Placements: About 600 + companies have tie-ups with the university. Out of that, 50-60 companies are from food sector. They offer job of good quality, production, hygienic and safety. There is a placement department in the university, especially for the placement of students. There is entrepreneur cell also in college for student who wants to do start up in their life they also provides fun to student for building startups of students.
Infrastructure: You can easily opt for a hostel if you want to. Hostel rooms are huge with attached bathroom where 4-5 student from the same stream/classmates can accommodate. The mess is common for all hostelite which can accommodate all. Our college hostel accommodate almost all the from various stream but you have to vacate earlier when you reach A final year or going to complete the degree to accommodate the new admission.
Faculty: It will help you to increase the technical skills as well as communication skills. The person who was having biotech background in B.Tech, can take Food Technology as specialisation to increase your focus in a single subject.
