Other: I am a post-graduate student with the specialisation: Power electronics and drives. After IITs and NITs, this college could be a really good option to choose from (BITS Pilani or VIT Chennai not considered because they are expensive institutions) I choose this college after elaborate discussion with many people,(friends and teachers) . The most impressive factor of this college is the amount of importance it gives to its laboratories and its features and constant updating. In my department for my specialisation, there is a separate drives lab with all modern drives equipment and stuff . The major drawback of this institution is its limited opportunities for placements for Masters students in core industry. Of course, IT companies visit and recruit you, if you are the kind who wants to work only in a core company. It is highly recommended to do your final year project in a company rather than traditionally doing it on your own in the college labs. The faculty members are one the best in class, no second thoughts about that. It is an amazing college to be a student in . You will find many alumni of this college working in many different industries, look on LinkedIn if you don't trust me. So it is always easy to get in touch with them and get a reference and find jobs.
