Candidate must have Passed B.Tech. / BE / B.Sc. (Engineering) with the mentioned marks in the following disciplines or related disciplines: Civil Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Naval Architecture & Ship Building Engg, Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Agriculture Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (Automobile), Mechanical Engineering (Production), Mechatronics, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Naval Architecture & Ship Building Engg, Production Engineering, Safety and Fire Engineering, from institution approved by the AICTE /UGC approved Universities/Deemed Universities in India. (For SEBC/OEC candidates a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination and for SC/ST candidates a pass in the qualifying examination course is sufficient.) Or Candidates, who have passed AMIE / AMIETE Examinations and satisfy the following conditions, are eligible for admission. (Graduates from the Institution of Engineers (India) (AMIE) or from Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India) (AMITE) in an appropriate area with a valid GATE score in an appropriate subject and AMIE/AMITE degree with 50% marks in Section B with or without the GATE score
