DSC- Experience from a student's perspective.
Placements: College is not very active regarding placements. Internship opportunities do come, but sometimes. Companies are not very famous, but students get both paid and unpaid internships. A lot of skill upgradation is to be done by students to get opportunities.
Infrastructure: The college has average infrastructure. Wi-Fi doesn't work properly, and labs are not fully updated. Classrooms are also not in very good condition. The library has a decent collection of books. The hostel is not present on the campus. There is a canteen which serves decent food.
Faculty: The teaching staff members are very nice. They are supportive and help foster students, which helps in increasing the knowledge and skill set as well. The course curriculum isn't updated, but teachers do try to make students familiar with the latest happenings related to the course. Semester exams are not too hard.

Review of Dyal Singh College, University of Delhi.
Placements: In the last 2 years, there were no placements. However, internships are posted regularly on the college website. Students need to work on their own to get into placements and internships.
Infrastructure: Dyal Singh College doesn't offer a hostel service. The infrastructure is average. Labs are okay, but in recent times, an upgrade is being carried out in departments. There is a canteen which provides nice food. The canteen is affordable and offers a variety of food.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and have great knowledge pertaining to their domain. The quality of teaching is good and interactive. The course curriculum isn't very relevant, but teachers help out with current examples and situations to gain a wider knowledge. However, the staff members are very supportive in such situations, and they provide adequate guidance for students.

Review of Dyal Singh College, University of Delhi.
Placements: Placements in recent years haven't been really promising. Students need to work for themselves to get better opportunities. Students do get some learning from workshops and events, but there isn't much really from the campus placements. Internships are offered to students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is okay. Labs are not really good. Wi-Fi usually doesn't work well. Classrooms are also in average condition. The canteen is good. Food is nice. Sports-wise, the qualities are also good. Games are not a permanent part of the curriculum but are open to all.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and well-qualified. The course curriculum isn't really updated, and students need to work a lot to be industry-ready. Semester exams are not that tough, and the pass percentage is decent. Students can easily pass exams if they focus on PYQs.
Other: I chose this course because it best suits my career plans. A lot of technical aspects are included in my course, which makes the learning experience nice. A change of curriculum is required to make the learning more interesting.

Faculty members, facilities, infrastructure, and canteen food are awesome.
Placements: My batch is 2024 and my course is B.Com (Hons). According to me, the placement percentage is around 55-65% in my course. The highest package is 30 LPA, and the lowest package ranges from 3-4 LPA. The average package ranges from 5-6 LPA. The top recruiting companies for my course are KMP, TCS, PwC, etc. The percentage of students who get internships in my course is around 40-60%. Roles offered are sales, marketing, and accounting.
Infrastructure: According to me, I would give 4 stars for the infrastructure as the infrastructure is good. The library has Wi-Fi and AC. We cannot believe that my college library is on top of the DU colleges and it has around 1,00,000 books. Labs are also good with AC and Wi-Fi facilities. Classrooms are good. My college doesn't have a personal hostel so I do not know about the quality of the food and other facilities.
Faculty: Faculty members of my college especially my department are very good. All teachers are well-qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching they provide is very decent. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. The level of exams is difficult but not too much difficult that students can't pass the exam.
Other: I chose this course because this course is very demanding in the industry and because of this course I learned many things that only B.Com degree doesn't teach. There can be some improvement in this course like this can become more practical. Events, fests, a campus crowd, connectivity, and campus surroundings at DU are active. It also provides scholarships. We can even play sports at state and national levels if we are good at sports and we can also take part in sports teams.

Decent college with good faculty members and average infrastructure and placements.
Placements: Around 60-70% of students got placed with the highest salary package of 35 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include KPMG, Deloitte, EY, Bajaj Capital, TCS, etc. Around 75% of students got internships in reputed companies like FnP, Deloitte, HDFC Bank, etc.
Infrastructure: Dyal Singh College has a decent library which has all the latest books regarding maximum courses offered in college. It has a canteen, computer and science labs, an auditorium, an open amphitheatre, a seminar hall, an NCC ground, a basketball ground, and a cricket ground..
Faculty: The teaching faculty members are good and have expertise in their particular fields. Teachers are very helpful. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are not very tough for a student. They can easily excel in them with a little hard work and smart work.
Other: My course is B.Com (Hons). It is a really good course for people who have an interest in commerce fields. The NEP policy has introduced a few good subjects like business analytics, which is going to be helpful for students when they apply for jobs. Events and fests are good. The college gate is very near to the metro station. There are many societies in our college for extracurricular activities which provide a good exposure to students.
