CUET General Aptitude Test Question Paper
CUET General Test question paper is an important source for candidates preparing for CUET UG. General Ability Test (GAT) syllabus includes important topics like quantitative aptitude, general awareness, logical reasoning and current affairs. Candidates appearing for CUET 2026, scheduled between May 11 and May 31 can download and practice previous year CUET General Test question papers (2025-2022). CUET 2026 General Test Exam Pattern
As per the CUET exam pattern, the General Aptitude Test section will consist of 60 questions, out of which candidates will be required to attempt 50 questions. Check the table below to learn about CUET General Test exam pattern:
- Mode of the examination: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
- Type of questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
- Negative marking: -1 mark for every incorrect answer
- Total number of questions: 50 questions
- Total CUET General Test marks: 250 marks
CUET UG question paper for each subject will consist of 50 questions. Candidates will be required to attempt all questions and no optional questions will be provided. In CUET UG 2026 there are 37 subjects- 13 languages, 23 domain subjects and general tests. While filling the CUET application form, candidates can select upto five CUET subjects aligning with the subjects studied in class 12th and course requirement.
Candidates must attempt all the questions of the subjects selected. However, candidates must keep in mind the negative marking and select the options carefully.
As per the CUET UG 2026 exam pattern -
The question paper will include 50 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The CUET UG 2026 exam will be conducted for 13 languages, 23 domain subjects, and general test. Each subject will consist of 50 MCQs and there will no optional questions. All questions are mandatory to attempt. For every wrong answer negative marking of one mark will be attracted.

Question 1: If the price of sugar increases by 25%, by what percent should consumption be reduced so that expenditure remains the same?
Question 2: If the selling price of 80 articles is equal to the cost price of 100 articles, find the gain percentage.
Question 3: An article is sold at ₹504 after allowing a discount of 20% and still a profit of 5% is earned. Find the marked price.
Question 4: A shopkeeper offers 50% + 50% discount on a shirt marked at ₹800. Find the selling price.
Question 5: A tap fills a tank in 6 hours. After half the tank is filled, three more identical taps are opened. Total time taken to fill the tank?
Question 6: A can do a work in 9 days and B in 12 days. They work on alternate days starting with A. In how many days will the work be completed?
Question 7:A train running at 80 km/h crosses a pole in 9 seconds. Find the length of the train.
Question 8: A train crosses a 350 m tunnel in 36 seconds at 80 km/h. Find the length of the train.
Question 9: The average of 12 numbers is 15. If the average of the first two numbers is 14, find the average of the remaining numbers.
Question 10:The present age of a father is 8 times the sum of the ages of his two sons. After 8 years, his age becomes twice their sum. Find father’s present age.

The CUET questions are objective in nature and carries four options also known as MCQs. Candidates will have to choose the correct answer option and click on it with the help of mouse. Since CUET UG 2026 exam will be conducted in a CBT mode, test-takers will be able to mark only one answer option. In case it is the correct option, students will get +5 marks and in case of wrong answer, negative marking scheme will be applied. Hence, candidates must ensure the accuracy of the answer before selecting the answer.

CUET is not mandatory for BBA admission at ITS College of Professional Studies. Students can get admission based on merit and college-level selection process. However, having good academic marks improves chances.
