East West Institute of Technology offers good teaching quality and good college life.
Placements: Almost 60% of students get placed in college. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, HCL, HP, Accenture, Capgemini, BYJU's, L&T, TCS, Amazon, Bosh, Wistron and many other companies come to recruit the students. For mechanical engineering, the top company that comes here is Bosch, where the package offered is more than other industry-based companies. The lowest package offered is 2 LPA, the highest package offered is 8 LPA, and the average package offered is around 3.5 to 4 LPA. They will not provide internships externally, but you can do an internship in your final year, and the college will give you permission. The top roles offered to mechanical engineering students are design developer, maintenance engineer, CAD technician etc.
Infrastructure: The campus is huge, with separate buildings for different departments. All the classrooms are well maintained and ventilated, and the classrooms are spacious with adequate lighting. Tables and chairs are neatly arranged, and they are not congested. Hostels are clean and tidy, and there are separate washrooms for each room. There are 2-sharing and 3-sharing rooms available. Food quality is quite good. They conduct a sports day every year, where many events are held. Tournaments are also held here, and winners will receive medals and shields. There is a doctor in the hostel to treat the students who are sick. The library has all the books related to academics, and it also has magazines, daily newspapers and PhD research papers.
Faculty: The teachers have good experience, and a few teachers have industry experience, where they teach us practically. All the teachers are PhD holders. They clarify our doubts well, and we can go to their staff room and ask our doubts if needed. They are very helpful in doing our projects. They will even help us with our research papers if we are interested in doing them. In labs, we are taught everything practically, which is helpful when we go to industry to work. Theory gives us the base to understand the concepts, which I feel is very important. All the exams are conducted by VTU, and we receive all the question papers from VTU and will be evaluated by some other college professors. Exams are 60% easy and 40% difficult.
Other: I chose mechanical engineering because it is an evergreen domain, and I really love hardware. I am more passionate about hardware things. Everything taught here is fair enough to get into a good company and build a good career unless you utilize it properly. We do have many cultural and technical fests, where students can have a lot of fun and entertainment. There are separate department fests as well. Each department has 3 sections, and each section has around 40 students. A lot of stationery shops, hotels, and retail shops are available outside the campus. The bus stand is a bit far from campus. We get a scholarship from the government, where a notice will be circulated on campus about the date and other information about the scholarship. Extracurricular activities are conducted by clubs like a debate club etc. NSS and NCC units are also present on campus.

It is a good college for students.
Placements: In our batches, around 120 students are studying in the mechanical branch, they conducted 3 internals and semester exams, students have done internships and project work in the final year. The average salary pacakge offered ranges from Rs 12,000 - Rs 15000 per month. Toyota compony is the top recruiting company, and production roles are offered.
Infrastructure: The canteen is very good, and fresh food is made. Many types of northern western foods are available in the canteen, but the hostel students do not know about this. But by seeing from outside it is not good for looking like that building either than the campus is very good.
Faculty: Teachers are very good and fully qualified talented. They have taught very well. They do not give any notes students have to study by themselves in exams so it is very difficult to communicate with that type of teacher.

Strong Foundation and Global Relevance.
Placements: I completed my BE in Mechanical Engineering in 2020. Around 30-40% of students were placed in our course. The normal package was around 2.25 lacs in startup companies in Bangalore. The highest package was around 3.6 lacs in Toyota & Tata Motors. Mahindra, Toyota Kirloskar, and Tata Motors were the top reputed companies for our course. Around 20% of students got internships in companies like Tech Mahindra, Toyota Kirloskar, and others. Roles offered included Junior Trainee Engineer, Junior Project Manager, and Human Resources.
Infrastructure: There were well-spaced classrooms with audio-visual projectors. Labs were available with all the essential equipment & apparatus. The library was really big with a lot of journals & books from international & national writers. There was a good Wi-Fi facility, neat & clean rooms, study tables & chairs, and wardrobes in our hostel room. Proper medical facilities were provided to the students in the hostel. For Sports & Games, there was a proper playground for the hostel students. All the playing kits were also provided for each sport.
Faculty: The teachers were quite helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable for the study concepts they taught. For the first two years, there were the best teaching persons with brilliant teaching quality, but after they left our college, somehow the teachers were average afterward. The course curriculum gives basic information on the subject matter but somehow it lacks the quality for the present generation of the industry. The semester exams were quite easy for me & some other friends to pass because our preparation was up to the point. Nearly 65-70% passed in the final examination.
Other: I chose Mechanical Engineering because I was fascinated with the subject of Thermodynamics, Heat Transfers, Material Science & Dynamics of Machinery. The best thing about this course was diverse career opportunities, practical applications, problem-solving skills, and foundational knowledge of Physics, Mathematics, and Material Science. The latest industry-relevant updates in curriculum fields like AI, Robotics, Renewable Energy, and Industry 4.0. Project-based learning, more practical exposure, advanced tools & technology, and various other sectors need improvement in the course. Events like Aakriti, Annual Sports & Games event, and cultural events were continuously held in our college.

It is a good campus with good lectures.
Placements: Above 75% of the students get placed from college in the mechanical course. Around 50% of the students got placed in mechanical companies. Many companies are visiting the campus every year as per their branch. Our college provides good internship training for students. That internship training is most helpful to the students in the going to job.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good facilities. We have good labs and classrooms. The food served in the hostel is good, Sports held are also good. All the departments are good, and there are labs and library for students. We have a separate department with many sections as per semester. Our college has good strength. It is the best campus.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college provide good knowledge, ideas and cultural activities. They are helpful in doing projects and laboratory. They give good instructions to the students.
Other: Events and fests held on campus are the best. We also celebrate college day and sports day.
