M.Tech and B.Tech Automotive Engineering Course Admission.
Placements: Approximately 70-75% of the students are placed. The lowest package is 3 LPA, the highest is 12 LPA, and the average is about 5 LPA. Ashok Leyland, Bosch, Mahindra, and Tata Motors were among the top recruiters. Auto factories and R&D companies offered internships, but the core job roles were more restricted than those of IT-based profiles.
Infrastructure: Practical learning is supported by well-equipped labs, CAD/CAM facilities, and automotive workshops. Classrooms are large, and Wi-Fi is dependable. The mess food is mediocre, but the hostel is decent. There are some sports facilities, but not many. Although it could be more timely, medical care is adequate.
Faculty: Though some stick to theory, the majority of the faculty are knowledgeable and helpful. Although internships provide genuine exposure, the curriculum is updated to reflect industry demands. Concepts and applications are tested in these moderately challenging exams. Although the pass rate is about 85%, some subjects feel unduly burdened.

I suggest you keep it as an option and consider if you want specific courses, but don't expect much.
Placements: Actually, there are no many placements here as the university is pretty new. Electronics and communication and computer science streams have good placements, but other streams must be developed. The salary packages offered are decent like around 6 LPA to 10 LPA. Volvo and Toyota have been selecting students for interns from our college from automotive and mechanical branches.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not very good here. The buildings, laboratories and campus are not very huge. However, whatever provided here has been maintained well, but sports facilities are very bad. I suggest you not to keep expectations on hostel quality. My friends who stay in the hostel always complain about it.
Faculty: Most of the teachers here are doctorate holders. But as in every college, our college also has both good and bad faculty members. The mathematics department is very good, and the aerospace department faculty members are well experienced. Automotive dynamics and handling faculty members are top-notch, while fluid mechanics and thermodynamics faculty members are not at all good.
Other: I always liked to be an automotive engineer. I have been had a passion for engines, bikes and cars, so I had decided to opt for automotive engineering from the beginning. I liked the automotive dynamics and handling part of my course as it's interesting as well as the faculty members are very good. I expected that there would be a more practical or real-life hands-on experience and teaching from college, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we missed it. Don't expect events, fests and extracurricular activities as they are not really appreciated here.

The college is average, and it is a bit satisfactory.
Placements: Above 60% of the students got placed. The average salary package offered is around 6 LPA, and teachers help in accruing skills required by the students. Students also have to put their efforts into gaining skills through which they get a job, and the interviewer feels that you are the right person for the job.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good, but the hostel infrastructure is below average. Hostel food is not up to expectations, and the cost for the hostel is a bit high. Daily the bus is offered from the hostel to the college, and the government bus is also available from college to the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and have good knowledge about the subjects. They clear all our doubts, and lab sessions are also good. Few teachers are very good at clearing doubts, and they are able to make us understand the concepts better. They are always ready to help.
Other: During the college fest, it is a good experience that helps to showcase students' talent, and it is conducted for 2 days.

I am very much satisfied with the faculty and their teaching, but the campus is small.
Placements: As our branch was started in the year 2016, the students who got placed in campus selections are very less. But the 2017 batch students are getting placed now due to Covid-19 effect at that time. In other branches, many students got placed in the best companies.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well established for studying. The campus is small, so it is difficult for parking vehicles and playing sports. There is no hostel facility for B.Tech boys, but it is provided for girls. They will provide good food in the hostel. Free Wi-Fi, labs and 2 canteens are available on the campus.
Faculty: Our faculty members are awesome. If you are coming to study automotive engineering, they provide a mentor for every student to solve their difficulties. They all are very knowledgeable except for two teachers, but overall, the teaching method is good.
Other: They should teach foreign languages for future use.

This is a wonderful college for those who wanna achieve something .
Placements: Placements are very good this year the highest package was 45 Lacs per annum from Amazon as a web developer. There are more than 200 companies come to our college for campus selection. As of this year there are more students who are placed in top companies.
Infrastructure: Very spacious and hygienic maintenance and mostly its affordable for anyone as the hostel fee is just 50000. We have college mess hostel students have to pay mess fee separately. Hostel is inside the campus to we don't have traveling issues. We have gym and sports center.
Faculty: Teachers are very friendly and motivate us to be creative and support us. All our teachers are Ph.D. holders and have great knowledge regarding the subject. Semester exams are conducted in the strict way and the paper level is also high. Mentors give special attention to every student .
Other: We have great opportunities to engage ourselves in Tedx and nss. We have clubs for dance, music, fine art, dramatics, and many more. It encourages us n make us feel confident as we take part in all of them. We have international conference too. Our college provides scholarships called SSP.

Q:   Are private sector BTech jobs better-paying than government jobs?
ShikshaGPT says
A:

Well, yes. The private sector BTech jobs in India offer a higher earning potential than the government sector jobs, including promotions, yearly bonuses, performance rewards, etc., along with a plethora of career options across different sectors. Having said that, there is less scope for job stability in the private sector due to market downturns.

The government sector is known for decent job security and other benefits like health insurance and retirement benefits. Rest, you can sit and decide for yourself whatever suits your interests the best. Best wishes.
