Absolutely love my college life a lot because of GITA.
Placements: 70% of students get placed in our college. The highest packages go with 10 LPA, the lowest is 3.5 LPA, and the average goes with 6 LPA. TCS, Capgemini, Cognizant, and Deloitte visit our college. The internship is provided through college, but students can also do the same from the outside. Top roles include software engineer, data analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at our college is excellent. We have 24/7 Wi-Fi available, and the labs are equipped with a large number of computers. The library offers a wide variety of books. The quality of food is good, and the menu is varied every 4 to 6 months. Medical facilities are accessible on campus. Our college also hosts sports events and various competitions.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified in their respective subjects. We have industry-level subjects present in our curriculum. The college exams are tough, but teachers get us well-prepared for the questions. We don't face any difficulties in exams, or projects to take place.
Other: It is in demand nowadays and we will do our best in this field. More relevant subjects should be added. Events, fests, and scholarships all took place in our college.

GITA could be a dream college for many students in 5 to 10 years.
Placements: 40% of students in our branch were placed last year. The average package goes with 4 LPA. Maximum of students got internships in startup companies of Odisha. Software engineer and data analyst are the roles which are top offered to the students.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of college is very good. They have separate buildings for B.Tech and MBA. They have smart classrooms, AC, Wi-Fi access during class time, labs, and maximum access to library. Hostel warden are also very kind. Pharmasist are also available anytime.
Faculty: Teachers are very well-qualified. They help us in our projects and outer knowledge too. Semester exams are also tough but teachers make us ready for the question, they give us some sample questions for exam. Invigilation also goes very strict.

Good college in technology.
Placements: Placements are good. Mostly in IT, the placements are good than in other branches. This year Tech Mahindra, TCS, Infosys, etc., visited our college. Tech Mahindra is the top recruiter. The highest package offered is 3.2 LPA. The lowest package offered is 1.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good. The campus is big. There is a garden inside. There are 8 boys hostels and 6 girls hostels for students. Library is good and all types of technology books and other magazines are available. Classrooms are spacious and digitally updated. Labs are spacious and have all chemicals and apparatus used in industry. There is a cricket ground. Volleyball court, badminton court, etc., are present in this college.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. They are highly qualified and experienced. They all have done their postgraduate and masters. They use simple language which is easy to understand. They clear our doubts through discussion. There are two semesters in a year conducted by the university. Each semester has two sessionals. Questions are moderate level.

My CSIT journey at GITA College.
Placements: 80% of our seniors got placed in our college. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and some startup companies visit our college. Some 3rd year students got internships in companies. The highest package is 8 LPA and the lowest package is 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: A world-class library is available here. Every book is available here. Every subject has a separate lab. Teachers are available for students 24/7. Sports facilities are also available here like kabaddi, volleyball, cricket, table tennis, and badminton.
Faculty: Teachers are so friendly. They guide every student and clear doubts properly. Semesters are not so difficult. Teachers provide a question bank for practice purposes. So we don't have to fear for exams. Students score well by following the question bank.
Other: CSIT professionals are in high demand globally, with a wide range of job opportunities.

The best engineering college in Odisha.
Placements: The placement scenario is not so good nowadays because fewer companies came for placements. They also do not give good placements, and most of them are new companies or startups. Recently, Accenture, Capgemini, Mindtree, and TCS came for placements, but they gave fewer placements. After the 6th semester, students are eligible for campus placement. The average package at our college is 5.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: GITA also provides hostels. There are 7 girls' hostels and 17 boys' hostels present. Hostel meals are good, and the menu changes every 2 months. There are 4, 2, and 1-seater rooms available. Outside the college, there are PGs and rented houses available at a reasonable price. There is Wi-Fi all over the campus and CCTV security. The campus is big; there is a park. The classrooms are spacious and digitally updated. Labs are good. The library has all types of books and magazines.
Faculty: The faculty-to-student ratio is 10:1. There are many faculty members I like, but among them, Suchismita ma'am is my favorite for her way of teaching, and she always helps students to keep studying. She teaches us Python; literally, I remember the basic concepts of Python very well. There is no teacher I hate, but I do not like the EEC teacher because he doesn't teach well and always scolds us for no reason. Every semester, you face two exams: one is the mid-semester exam, and another one is the end-semester exam, and between the mid-semester and end-semester exams, short tests happen. Viva tests are taken in each lab; this mark is also included in your main grade. The end-semester exam is for 60 marks, and the mid-semester exam is for 25 marks, and the rest are tests, viva, tests, and assignment marks. I took Computer Science because of my interest, and I chose GITA for GITA's quality education at an affordable price. Here, each subject is taught according to the needs of the industry, market, and higher studies. The major drawback is that important concepts are taught on the blackboard, which is not very effective; this curriculum should be changed. Exams are conducted every 2–3 months. The difficulty level is moderate; every question you get is from the question bank or assignments given by the faculty itself. A student can easily score good marks if they attend the class regularly and practice the question bank.
