Good infrastructure and support faculty with average placements.
Placements: I belong to the B.Tech civil engineering passing out in 2025-2029. In our batch, 75-80% are placed through campus recruitment. The highest package is 56 LPA, the lowest package is 5 LPA, and the average package ranges between 7 LPA. Some of the top recruiters for our courses are Larsen, Toubro, and Tata. About 60-65 students received internships during the course.
Infrastructure: The civil engineering department in our college is well-equipped with good faculty members and infrastructure. The campus has high-speed Wi-Fi accessible in classrooms, the library, and hostels. The department has well maintained well laboratory, such as survey labs strength of material labs, concrete technology lab, etc., which help students gain practical knowledge.
Faculty: The teachers in the civil engineering department are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable, with most of them holding postgraduate degrees and having good teaching experience. The teaching quality is good as faculty members explain concepts clearly using classroom teaching presentations, practical demonstrations, and site-related examples.
Other: I belong to the civil engineering course batch 2025-2029. I chose this course because it plays a vital role in infrastructure development, and it offers opportunities to work on real-world projects.

Review of Gitam University Bangalore.
Placements: Placements in this university for civil engineering are not that good. You cannot get the placements with high salary packages, and you have to end up with a salary package of 2-3 LPA. The placement department conducts some placement classes. There is a separate CRT coaching centre to clear the aptitude test for the placements. They provide you with all the facilities. They conduct seminars, web seminars, and many more as the placements and salary packages depend on students' capabilities.
Infrastructure: The college provides good infrastructure for the hostel with single rooms for the students from the second year. Students joining in the 1st year will have to share the room with 3 people. Wi-Fi facility is also provided through LAN port with the speed of 51 Mbps, and routers are not allowed in the hostel. The hostel contains a sickroom, and the doctor visits it daily. The college has a medium-sized ground in which all the sports are played. Our college also has good labs with the best software. Classrooms are also equipped with the projectors, but only a few of the projectors work properly. All the classrooms are well-ventilated.
Faculty: Faculty members of the engineering course are not really good. Most of them depend on Youtube. Faculty members who teach coding concepts in the CSE department are really poor, and they couldn't teach you if you ask them any doubts. Almost all the teachers conduct presentation sessions and read them in the classes. They don't even conduct any industrial visits. No industrial oriented teaching methods followed here. You just need to read the books and work in those labs.
Other: The campus offers an excellent environment as it is situated 40km away from Bangalore. The campus crowd is low. Fests are conducted once a year. The college provides a scholarship of Rs. 10,000 for the students who score well in semester exams.

The campus is good, and one drawback is the placements as it has a few placements.
Placements: In this college, the placements are less. A few companies visit our college, and only a few students got placed from the last three years. A few people only got placed in this college as a few companies visit the campus in Bangalore.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi facility in our college, and nowadays the labs are being constructed and fitted to our college. The library is available in our college and has a good collection of books. We have a ground, and every year, they will conduct the cricket tournament.
Faculty: The faculty members in our college are good. A few faculty members are highly experienced, and some are average so that there is a chance to get the knowledge. There are the lab facilities, and in the labs, we are having all types of apparatus. Every year, our college conducts the technical fest for the students. The campus crowd is average so that we can feel free on the campus.

One of the best college. You can go for it.
Placements: The placements in this college are going very well for all the branches. In the last two years, some big companies have come for the placements, and this will continue. You will get some good recruitment in this college. From the first year itself, you will be trained when comes to the placement training .
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is superb in this college, and they are planning to improve more. The campus is going to very big by 2019 as the construction is going on another side, and there are big structures around us in the campus. You have to go and check out once, but one disadvantage is transportation.
Faculty: The faculty are good enough for the courses. They teach us in a well understandable manner and are very friendly and supportive towards the students, they will never regret you. The curriculum is one of the best things in the college where you will get knowledge and entertainment.

Satisfied with this college.
Placements: This university is deemed under UGC. The placements are quite good this year, more than 80-82% (as I calculated the percentage) were placed in several companies Like Tech Mahindra, Alpha Marine, Amazon, Schneider and lot more MNCs. 24 lakhs per annum was the highest package offered to ECE senior by a German company, and the lowest was 1.5 lakhs per annum. In this university, they train students from the first year on how to get placements, separate classes are taken for placement training, and they teach foreign languages also like German, Chinese etc. As this new college is in the suburb of Bangalore, some companies only visit as it has brand value in both Hyderabad and Vishakhapatnam campus. Very shortly, Bangalore campus will gain the brand due to its student-adaptable conditions, and more than that, this college is far better for girls.
Infrastructure: GITAM Bangalore has all facilities inbuilt. All labs are there, and GITAM health centre is also available. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled both for staff and students. The classrooms are very big included with very good infrastructure. The 4k auditorium is also there for cultural activities. It has two blocks Shivaji Bhavan and Vishveshwaraya Bhavan. Shivaji Bhavan has seminar halls on every floor, inter-university sports and events are held here. Fests and many tech events take place here. The food is pure south Indian, Andhra type, and is hygienic. The hostel rooms have LAN and Wi-Fi. The sports are amazing includes cricket ground, football ground, basketball court and badminton court. There are no issues regarding infrastructure, but when we come to an outing, it's like jail for students. No outings are provided without permission of councillor and parents, and this is the negative point in this college, that's it.
Faculty: The faculty are very nice supportive and explain easily. They are PhD holders, and civil HOD is the member of IISC, and the vice-chancellor is IISC faculty member. The staff is very interactive with students. The student-faculty ratio is 20:1, every two months they will take for an industrial visit. The curriculum is very useful.
Other: It serves at its best. The motto of this university is "strive, serve, thrive". The one member who took the GITAM Bangalore campus to the peaks is Mr Sarith Kumar (dean). MBA here is awesome, and they have cybersecurity course which is less in India.

50% is not okay.
Placements: 10% of students got placed, with an average package of ₹2.5 Lacs from a company located in Bangalore. We didn't get any companies through the college; we did internships online via Internshala for marketing jobs. It's okay, but there is no proper faculty, and communication skills need improvement for future plans. The course offerings are too few for the packages needed to join that company.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not bad, but not too good either. Some days, the quality is okay, but at times it can be the worst. Labs and classrooms are good, but they need to improve the mess and everything else because the food provided is often too oily, making it difficult to eat every day.
Faculty: The faculty is not bad but not good either. There is no proper communication with teachers. It is difficult to pass; you must get 50% to pass, and the passing percentage is low. It’s hectic to achieve this percentage, and many students fail in some subjects.
Other: I am interested in the IT field and want to learn proper coding.

Our college provides a good infrastructure for students.
Placements: About 75% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 7 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Amazon and Tech Mahindra visit our campus for placements. Our college offers courses like computer science engineering, electronics and communication engineering, mechanical engineering and aeronautical engineering. The highest salary package offered in our course is 9 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. About 50% of the students from our course got an internship in companies like Wipro and Infosys.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is excellent. Our college provides good facilities like Wi-Fi, labs and good classrooms. The quality of the food served in the mess and canteen is good. Medical facilities, sports and games are available here. Facilities are available in the hostel. Quality of the food is served in the mess and the canteen.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They are highly educated. Their teaching is good and understandable.
Other: I have chosen this course because I am interested in the software field. Our college should improve our course. Events and fests are organised at the college.

Our college provides good teachings, infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: In the previous year, 89% of the students got placed from college. In civil engineering, 100% of the students got placed in various companies. The institute has collaborated with several companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Oracle, L&T, etc. Placement training was provided from the first year itself.
Infrastructure: The campus includes a huge digital library with all facilities. Classrooms are provided with projectors. Hostel facilities are provided for both boys and girls. Single rooms are provided for every student. The food served in the hostel is of good quality. The campus includes campus cafe, two canteens, hair salon, stationary, bakery, dispensary, post office and one bank inside the campus. Overall the infrastructure and facilities are good.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are well qualified and trained. They teach us with PPT presentations so that we can easily understand the topic. They keep attention to every student. We can discuss the subject with faculty members in free time. Overall the teachings are good.
Other: Scholarships are provided for both SC/ST and general category students. Gizatra is the annual fest held and it includes many events. Students from different colleges participate in this fest.
