Good infrastructure, supportive faculty, vibrant campus life with scope for better placements.
Placements: Placements at Presidency University are fairly good, especially for Computer Science and Technology with AI & ML specialisation. Around 70-90% of students get placed, with the overall university placement rate close to 80-85%. The highest package offered is about 13-14 LPA, the lowest around 5 LPA, and the average stays near 5-6 LPA. Companies like Accenture, Deloitte, DHL, Microsoft, and Nestlé recruit regularly, offering roles in software development, AI/ML engineering, and data analysis. Many students also get internships, with firms like Accenture providing stipends of around Rs. 15,000. Placements are promising, though more AI/ML-focused companies would make it even better.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the university is so good, and there are many clubs to join. The university has excellent infrastructure, and there are many clubs where we can participate and enhance our skills. The hostel facilities are also good. We participated and leveraged our skills. The hostel is also good.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable, consistently offering quality teaching and support to students. The curriculum is relevant and aligned with industry requirements, incorporating practical projects that prepare students for professional roles. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty, focusing on both theory and application, and the college maintains a high pass percentage due to effective teaching methods and comprehensive student preparation.
Other: I am Hareesh from Presidency University, Batch 2023- 2027, pursuing B.Teach in Computer Science and Technology with specialisation in AI & ML. I chose this course because of my strong interest in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and their applications in solving real-world problems. The course provides a solid foundation in core computer Science subjects along with advanced AI/ML concepts, supported by practical labs and projects. I believe it can further improve with more industry collaborations, internships, and an updated curriculum. The campus offers vibrant fests, diverse peer interactions, supportive scholarships, and ample extracurricular opportunities, making my journey enriching and rewarding.

Our college has a really great infrastructure.
Placements: The highest package offered is about 6 LPA. CSE students get placed a little bit earlier than the other courses, so the percentage of CSE students getting recruited in companies is high.
Infrastructure: I'm not a hostel student but as far as I know, it has good facilities and security. There are many hostels which are near to the college and bus facilities are also available. The canteen has good and tasty food. Hostel is great.
Faculty: All the teachers are experienced and teach very well. The exams are too tough but bearable. Pass percentage is minimum 50% of the total marks. We have to get 200 marks in total in 1 subject. You need to score 100 marks in order to pass.

Review of my university days and my university.
Placements: There are only a few people who get placed in technical companies. I have received an offer from a non-technical company with a package of 6 LPA. But it is a non-technical company. A student must score 6 CGPA with no backlogs to attend placements.
Infrastructure: This university has 3-4 libraries. There are separate blocks for different courses for students. They also contain 2 blocks of computer labs and 10-12 classes for other labs. We also have Wi-Fi, which is separate for students and faculty members. The university also contains many cafes and sports facilities.
Faculty: Few faculty members are very good. They are qualified and also have knowledge about that particular course. They will help us in all ways. But faculty members just come for time pass. They don't have knowledge about that course, so they'll never come to help us.
Other: I chose this course because it is the future. The best things about my course are that we have labs so that we can learn the course practically. We have 2 fests in 4 years and also a few cultural events. The crowd is the worst. There is a bus stop in front of the university.

Not tat bad College good infrastructure.
Placements: As long as I know only minimum number of students were placed privious years according to their information Only few good companies are coming for hiring. Rest all normal companies with 3-4 L per annum which is very less. It may increase in future I guess. Overall ita a nice experience.
Infrastructure: Hostel is soo good but only problem is with securities they are so rash and the rules are very strict. It doesn't look like a B. Teach hostel. They treat us like small kids and keep complaining for everything. Even the dress code is there in side the hostel which is unfair. But except tat good facilities and good food u can get in presidency university hostel.
Faculty: Only some teachers are so educated knowledge and soft spoking. Few teachers r very rude to students. Theyll point out some students and fails them if they get * even the dean management doesn't respond proper in some students situations. And there r few lectures who teach very well and even they behave very good with students.
Other: U can choose this college but after knowing all the loop holes and the benifits then only u can survive here.

Q:   Is there enough demand for BTech graduates in the job market?
ShikshaGPT says
A:

If we look at the market demand, no doubt there is huge demand for BTech (Full Form: Bachelor of Technology) graduates among top recruiters who are constantly looking for skilled and knowledgeable students with fresh ideas to enhance their business growth and profitability.

Having said that, a few previous-year employment reports published by the Business Standard and Times of India suggest that students found it a struggle to land a high-paying job after completing BTech because of a lack of industry-specific skills and knowledge and cut-throat competition between Lacs of engineering students hunting for a job.

Hence, it is very important for students to focus on enhancing their skill set according to industrial demands and technological advancements, stay updated regarding all industry trends, build good networks and, most importantly, take up internships to gain experience and stand out in front of the employer.
