Absolutely dissatisfied with all aspects in the college.

Placements: There is no placement for us. They bring BPO companies only. No core companies are coming for my batch. Whenever we ask for a core company, they are saying us to wait repeatedly. No action was taken for placements for our department and placement cell. Some companies came before our batch and in that only two people got selected.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was good. All the games are available to play. The hostel was okay. The main thing is canteen was not in one place. They change it often and that too small place is available. There is no standard place for the canteen. Initially, there is a common gym for both mariners and non-mariners, while the count is increasing then they shifted that gym to the marine hostel.

Faculty: In my department, faculty members are good except HOD. There is no response from college to parents. Staff members also keep on changing every year. I don't know why it happens. I thought in school days after joining the college, I will get good communication skills, but here everyone is speaking in their own language. I don't say that is not bad, but I didn't gain any knowledge from the campus.

Other: They were not good enough in conducting cultural events and other events for students. They conduct other exams which are online examinations for outsiders.

According to me I will give 60/100 for our college.

Placements: Placement taken place in our college very well. But only 40% of students only get placement. The highest salary for them is 50000 and the lowest salary is 15000. many companies taken place like Bosch, Hyundai etc. Internship will given to many students even in my class like in MTC, ashok leyland etc. There is no placement cell in our college.

Infrastructure: The only college having advanced technology automobile lab is our college in Chennai and 5 Cad labs with a/c. Sports will be conducted, and even send us for intercollege match, there are 4 canteens in our college but now only ten are there. Hostels is good. Both a/c and non a/c rooms available in hostel. Infrastructure is good with no issues.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified, helpful and even knowledgeable in our department. They teach well with clear explanation even with projector for more clearance of students. There will 150 students in our whole department. And there are 10 staffs in departments.

Other: Cultural event and annual day functions will be conducted. Sports will be conducted for each department. Anna university scholarship will be given for only applicable students.

Think before you join, 4 years of your life isn't a joke.

Placements: Campus placements are not available because of the ineligibility of candidates. Eligible candidates are personally referred by the institution. Students don't know the meaning of internship except for 5-6. Only about 10 percent students get placed.

Infrastructure: The lab facilities are excellent. Some equipment is given as the final year project to students and the lab is developing year by year. No WiFi. The library facility is poor for automobile engineering. For other departments, it is excellent. Sports zero. Medical facilities are okay for minor cases. The quality of food available in the canteen is 2 out of 5. The hostel rooms are bunkers with 4 in one or 8 in one room. Rating for the hostel is 2 out of 5.

Faculty: The knowledge of faculty members is a big question mark here except for one or two. Some staff members are seriously excellent. Teaching methods are as usual theoretical. No practical knowledge gained. Theories are theory, practicals are just experiments. The student to faculty ratio is 12:1. Industry exposure is good. An industrial expert is there who guides us through training and everything.

Other: If a student who is capable of studying all by himself and he could manage all the weird teachers in the department, then this department is well and good. The lab facilities are good compared to other colleges and can be utilised by the students properly. The college management is another pool of idiots. Internal politics has a major role in the total development stopping process of the college.
