The infrastructure and facilities are really good.
Placements: I am from the 2022-25 batch, pursuing a Bachelor in Computer Science (BCA). Teachers are good and humble, and the way they teach is also good. Multiple companies, like Bajaj, BigBasket, etc., come for recruitment from the BCA course, and about 50-60% of students get placements. The college provides internship opportunities with companies like BSPL and sends students there. Students get roles at companies, such as customer care executive, market research, etc.
Infrastructure:
The infrastructure of the college is awesome. A mess is also available, along with Wi-Fi. Labs, classrooms, and the library are all available for students. There is availability of hostel and hostel-related facilities. Additionally, the college organizes inter-college sports competitions regularly.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and coordinate with students to the best of their ability. They are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and have excellent teaching experience. The course I am pursuing, BCA, is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready.
Other: I think the computer science field is the leading sector in the present and the future, and that is why I chose BCA as my course for a Bachelor's degree. Students should focus from the first year, as the level of competition is very high. The college organizes fests and events, and students receive regular scholarships from e-Kalyan.

Good days at my college.
Placements: In every Science department, there are almost 1,200 students. There are no placement offers, no company visits, and no internships available in my college. Not a single job offer or role was received by any students.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is very good. Labs are good, and the college campus is neat and clean. Every Science department has a lab, and every department has a library for their honors students to get the subject books easily from the library. There is a game room and good food for students.
Faculty: All teachers are helpful to everyone. Teachers help students if they need any help. They have good qualifications and knowledge. Teachers are very good. I don't think they are only providing knowledge to students. All exams are conducted on time.

Review of Gossner College.
Placements: Placements in our college are not great. Companies visit the college but offer the highest salary of Rs. 15,000 per month, so not many students take the offer. Companies like Bajaj, TCS, etc., visit our college for placements. Our college does not provide internships.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are good not so great but not so bad either. The library is just for the namesake. We cannot go and get the books, and the same goes with Wi-Fi. We do not have access to college Wi-Fi. There is no hostel in the college but it has a canteen which is average. Sports and games are also average. Nothing is so great here.
Faculty: Teachers are indeed qualified and helpful. The course curriculum is old and worn out compared to today's rapidly changing world. Semester exams are of moderate level but one can find Maths and Physics hard. The pass percentage is 50%. In our college, 50% of students pass and the rest fail.
Other: I chose this course because I want to make my career as a data engineer, and I needed this course for it. The best thing about this course is it teaches the fundamentals of software engineering and programming languages like CPP, Java, PHP, etc. Events, fests, etc., are conducted rarely. It happens once or twice a year, and 2 months ago in December, we had Fate Fest, and it popped out of nowhere.

Really very good college campus and a good teaching environment.
Placements: If I talk about college placement, it is okay, but our department placement is better than the overall college placement. According to our old faculty, they talk positively about the department placement, but not too highly of the college's overall placement. The highest package is around 6-7 lakhs, as I was just informed by a senior student. Mecon is a good company that visited, as it is a regional company.
Infrastructure: The facilities are very good, with special labs for every department. Classrooms are very neat and clean, with good electricity. There is also a library. Wi-Fi facility is not available for college students, but it is available for faculty only. Hostels are also available for SC and ST students.
Faculty: The teaching facility is very good. All the faculty are hardworking and have good knowledge, but some new teachers are lacking; they look less confident sometimes while teaching. If I talk about semester examinations, they are easy, as they are conducted by Ranchi University. Passing marks are just 40%.

Unexpectedly good. I am satisfied with the faculty. Infrastructure is great.
Placements: Most students got placed, leaving only a handful of students. The highest salary package offered ranges from 8 LPA - 15 LPA. Depending on the skills of the candidate and the company. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, IBM, Accenture, TCS, Infosys, and Cisco. Almost 85% of students got internships in the hiring companies, and many got permanent jobs. Through my course, top roles offered are data analyst, website developer, bank officer, software developer, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities like Wi-Fi are provided only during practicals. Classrooms are very well suited as there is zero disturbance during class, which made it easier for us to focus. We have regular lab classes with accessible software and well-trained mentors. Library is available too, but we rarely visited it during our course period. There is wide range of food in the canteen, perfect for a break and mind refreshment. Medical facilities are rarely used because we never had to use them except when there are sports meets and tournaments. We have different teams for each sport like football, volleyball, etc. We often competed with other college teams.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful during exams. Whenever we needed their help, they provided us with resources to study. They are very strict, which is expected. Teachers also held career guidance programs for us students to learn about our careers and future goals, and they are very supportive of our opinions. The difficulty level of exams increased with each semester, but most of us passed with good grades. Attendance is mandatory in our course, which helps us study better. We also have regular tests that help us increase our knowledge.

Good college with nice faculty.
Placements: It gives an average placement of lumpsum 3:57 LPA here. Top companies are TCS and IBM. The top roles offered here are system admin and software developer. I would say at least 90% got internships from their course, and the companies are CCL, CMPDI, and also other companies like MECON Limited and Gail. The top roles offered in our course are software developer and system administration. Other offers are network engineer and service desk role.
Infrastructure: Everything was available like labs, library, and big classrooms. I haven’t stayed in the hostel, but the people who actually stay in the hostel never complain about the food or the availability of their facilities inside the hostel. Yes, people get encouraged to participate in sports and games, so this is a very good thing, and we are supported by our own college for sports.
Faculty: Qualified teachers make people ready for their future. Here, the most important thing is that if you fail in a supplementary paper, you will get a year back, so the important thing is you need to pass all subjects. Teachers are very helpful and actually qualified, and they share their knowledge not only for getting passed in exams, but also for getting a better future.
