The college is average. The placement is about 50%, and the infrastructure is really good.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in this course was around 60% among the most reputed institutions. The average package offered by our course B.Sc. Honours Physics is around 10 LPA, and the highest package to date is 15 LPA. The percentage of students getting internships is around 50%.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for our course are sufficient for us. The college has well-maintained labs with sufficient apparatus. The library has that energy which encourages students to study in this healthy environment. It has average-quality hostel facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. They guide us in the easiest way for students to learn. The curriculum is relevant and currently helpful to develop a base for students, leading them to be industry-ready. The semester exams have a difficulty level of 5/10, which is very easy to pass, and the passing percentage is 33%.

Why you should choose Hansraj?
Placements: Generally, commerce students get placed in my college. Students from those departments get good placements. In my course, the chances of getting placements are almost equal to null. If we talk about internships in my course then of course there are some internships from top scientific universities, research centers, etc.
Infrastructure: In Hansraj College the infrastructure is top notch. All the facilities are available including well-managed classrooms, good furniture, AC, and most lovely Wi-Fi. Library is also well managed with all amenities. Hansraj College doesn't provide hostel facility for all students. I don't have a hostel. But I once visited hostels it was good and well managed with good food.
Faculty: The best thing about Hansraj is its faculty members. Most of them have Ph.D. in their respective fields. They are good at teaching and friendly too. My course is Physics (Hons). The course is good and prepares you for further research or many fields like scientist, data analyst, professor, etc. Now if talk about semester exams, they are moderate to difficult. One can pass after studying for even 1-2 days but it's not easy to get 100% even after studying for the whole semester. Pass percentage is 40% (including both theory and practical).

I'm satisfied with teachers, infrastructure, and diversity.
Placements: The highest package offered was 36.5 LPA in 2022-23, and the average is around 8LPA. The top recruiting courses are B.Com and computer science. Most students get internships. Many big companies come for placements. We also have a placement cell in our college, which helps students in placement opportunities.
Infrastructure: The facilities for my course, Physics Hons, are awesome. All the labs are fully functional, and all classrooms have AC. We have a separate block for science courses. We can also issue books from the library.
Faculty: The teachers are experienced, and most of them are M.Sc. Ph.D. They help students whenever they encounter any problem. It makes the student industry-ready. Semester exams are pretty difficult sometimes, and sometimes normal.
Other: The fest is amazing. Many artists like Diljit and Jassi Gill have performed here. The freshers are awesome. The college also provides many scholarships. Every year, the college conducts Khelo Hansraj by the sports society of the college.

I am satisfied with teachers, infrastructure, and placements but not with freshers' party.
Placements: Our college has a dedicated placement cell that facilitates job opportunities for students but for B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics, they are not readily available. The highest package offered is 37 LPA and the average package is 7.9 LPA. The total offers provided to students are more than 600.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good and l think it is the best. There are many facilities for us like there are around 7 labs for physics and around 7-8 labs for computers. All the classrooms have AC facilities. The library has all kinds of books and we can also issue books from it. Unfortunately, I belong to NCR so I cannot take a hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are very good and very friendly. They provide knowledge in all aspects. The course curriculum is relevant covering essential topics that prepare us for industry challenges. Semester exams are somewhat difficult. About 70% of students successfully pass and obtain their degrees.
Other: Fresher's party of 2024 was not so good. It organises the Diwali mela. There can be improvement but I just completed my first semester so the fest is yet to be held.

My beautiful college journey.
Placements: In my course, very few students participate in placements because most prefer to pursue research in their field of interest within physics. They prepare for IIT JAM and pursue Master's degrees in Physics.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. There is AC in every classroom and lab. The washrooms are neat and clean on every floor. The library is big and has every kind of book available, along with proper Wi-Fi, a quiet atmosphere, and AC. Canteen food is good and affordable. The girls' hostel has AC, spacious rooms, and good food quality. There is a huge playground with various sports equipment.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. They also help with research work and provide guidance. The curriculum is very good and helpful for future goals, although it may not fully prepare students for industry jobs. Semester exams are moderate, and 99% of students pass.
Other: I chose physics because I want to do research in this field. The practical aspects of the course are interesting. The college organizes many events and workshops every week through societies and faculty members. Fests are not very good, but the campus crowd is nice. The college provides scholarship opportunities to needy students. There are many societies for dance, poetry, drama, etc., where students can develop their hobbies.

Q:   Is BSc and BSc (Hons) admission at Hans Raj College entrance based?
A:

Hans Raj College admission to all the programmes is entrance-based. While the college accepts CUET UG exam for admission to its undergraduate courses, such as BA, BA (Hons), BSc, BSc (Hons) and BCom, BCom (Hons), admission to all the postgraduate programmes is based on the scores obtained by students in the CUET-PG exam (starting admission 2023). The institute along with DU started accepting CUET UG from 2022 onward and the CUET PG from the 2023 session onward. Before this, admission to UG was subject to merit scores obtained by the students in Class 12 and PG admission was mostly subject to DUET exam previously conducted by DU. However, the university still accepts ECA quota admissions.
