College has a great education.

Placements: As for me if you are taking physics for further studies then you must be aiming into research or professors for that you have to do your Ph.D. first and then you can get placed. For internship students can do internships provided by college and university in the vacation.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is nice and there is a nice space to roam around the college but it sometimes looks small during exam times as the college gets crowded with students. The hostel has a personal canteen and every student from college can hang out there and have lunch with friends. Quality is not compromised in canteens.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and help you both during the class and after the class, teachers are knowledgeable in their specific subjects and help students regarding the same. As physics is a practical subject it helps students with an industry-level mindset.

College is nice and you can get a great output from this.

Placements: As per the placements in the Physics sector in KMC college, You have to do your Ph.D. then you can get a placement afterward after the research year which is optional to the students. If you are able to develop some research paper in that year you can get as assistant professor placement.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi facilities are provided on every floor and every department and library is air-conditioned with proper Wi-Fi. Although the science department doesn't have AC in classes. The food quality in mess and canteen is good you can also eat in the hostel canteen too. There are sports facilities available inside the college and the college is working on that on every basis. Recently, there has been a buildup of basketball courts.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable, each teacher brings knowledge to the class and delivers it to the students properly with doubt-solving lectures provided at every time. It makes students industry-ready as the practical class is helpful and gives exposure for future research. About the semester exams, they are easy if you study well during the whole semester and practice the PYQs. Faculty members are cooperative as well they help you during your course and classes are on the proper schedule each day.

Other: The crowd on the campus is good and if you are able to find some good friends then you are good to go. You will shine in the future.

Decent college experience with good facilities but average placement and faculty.

Placements: About 60% to 70% of students were placed, with packages ranging from 3 LPA to 12 LPA, and top recruiters such as TCS, Infosys, and Wipro. Common roles included software developer, analyst, and support engineer. While 40% of students secured internships, the companies are decent like TCS, but vacancies are limited.

Infrastructure: The campus infrastructure is well-maintained with good Wi-Fi, clean classrooms, a well-stocked library, and decent lab facilities. Hostel food is average, but medical services and sports facilities are quite satisfactory although they all are excellent or hostel canteen is also amazing.

Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable and supportive, though teaching methods can vary. The curriculum is moderately relevant, and exams are of average difficulty with a decent pass percentage they all are so friendly and cool. There are no difficulties in the sem exam.

Other: I chose this course for its career opportunities and relevance to my interests. The fests, connectivity, and active campus life added to the experience.

Kirori Mal College among top NIRF ranking.

Placements: For the student who pursuing B.Sc. Physics Hons, there are no such special or say specific jobs that come in college. Once you are added to the placement cell group you'll see only commerce and statistics job profiles. If you're thinking that you can get placement through Physics you must have some specific skill.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college has recently been renovated, and a new canteen is also open. There are 2 buildings within the college and separate Wi-Fi assistance is given for each class, also for PWD students there is a special staircase and tactile path which makes it accessible to them.

Faculty: Faculty members are well experienced. They all are very helpful during the exams. They take extra classes so that we can score better. Labs are well maintained and the lab staff is also very good, with 3 lecture halls and 4 labs for each year's students. HOD is very cool.

Other: Everyone knows about the North campus, and Kirori Mal College is one of the top colleges in Delhi University. During the fest, KMC is known for its unity and strength, and strong politics can be seen throughout graduation.

Excellent college, college infrastructure is developing, and every student loves the crowd.

Placements: First of all, not many students go for placement in B.Sc. Physics Honors. Almost 10-15 students go for placement, and the average package is 7-8 lacs per annum. The highest package a student received was 21 lacs per annum. In other courses, students receive higher packages.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are large and fully ventilated. Each class has a projector. No AC is available in classrooms. Seating benches are good and arranged in an inclined manner from bottom to top. Labs are absolutely excellent with proper equipment and all facilities available. If something is not available, professors and lab attendants provide it. The library is good but does not have sufficient space for all college students. A hostel is available only for boys, with 2-3 students from each course getting accommodation. Rooms are good, and mess food is delicious. Canteen food is average. Sports facilities are not widely available due to the small playground.

Faculty: Professors are next level. Almost every professor is supportive of each student, and their knowledge is excellent. Yes, Physics Honors is a relevant course, and there are many opportunities. Semester exams are not hard and have a moderate level. If students study properly once, they can get good marks.

Other: In Delhi University, KMC has an excellent faculty for Physics Honors. The campus is fully crowded on weekdays, especially on Mondays. Almost every month, small events are organized in the college. The college has no open space.

The faculty and infrastructure of the college are good.

Placements: There is no such data of placement in B.Sc. Physics Honours. According to seniors, only a few students got internships. If you want to pursue B.Sc. Physics Honours because of placement, then I have only one word for you: no. If you want placement, then try B.Com Honours in our college.

Infrastructure: Faculty members of our college are very helpful and knowledgeable. If you have any kind of problem, even if it is other than academics, they can help you as well. The only good thing in our college is the infrastructure and our faculty, but the auditorium is under construction. The hostel mess is very good.

Faculty: Yes, our teachers are helpful in every field and are much more qualified than you, with some teachers even writing NCERT books. Yes, our courses are relevant and they make students industry-ready in some aspects. They have Python in their course. The semester exams are of medium to difficult level.

Other: I have an interest in Physics, so I opted for Physics Honours. In this course, you can do practical work of what you study in your course. They have to install new equipment for the lab because sometimes errors could be large. There are lots of societies in college, so you can expect lots of events every week.

Things to Know About Kirorimal College.

Placements: Around 20% of students are placed in my course. I don't have other information like companies; many small companies approve students and then refer them to other companies. Almost 70-85% of students get paid internships or non-paid internships in NGOs, and many more on a contract basis as well.

Infrastructure: In my college, the infrastructure and facilities are well maintained and excellent. There is full Wi-Fi in the college, AC in labs, well-maintained lawns, and all equipment is in working condition. The canteen, mess, classrooms, 3-floor library, and many new buildings are in good condition. In my college hostel, all facilities are available like Wi-Fi, AC, library, clean rooms, a big ground, sports building, and the mess is great; food is the best.

Faculty: My teachers are very helpful; all the teachers are ready to help every student. All teachers are Ph.D. graduates and have research abilities. Yes, this course curriculum is very relevant for higher studies and industry purposes. Semester exams are moderate, and 40% is the pass percentage according to the subjects and course.

Other: This course curriculum is helpful for research purposes and professors. I think more practical knowledge should be included in this so all students can understand everything easily. Events and fests are regular on campus; all events are very good with a moderate crowd. The college itself provides scholarships for good students and financially weak students.

Can I get admission in KMC at 83 percent (OBC) in bsc

The cut off of KMC is very high. Cut off is above 90, so most probably you will have to choose another Delhi University’s college.

Hey, With these marks, you can't get admission in KMC College if you belong to general category. But if you belong to SC or ST category then you will get admission in BA (H) English and in all other courses also. For more information regarding the admission process, visit Delhi University website.
