Get admitted because of the faculty and campus.
Placements: The place in my course, i.e., B.Sc. (Hons.) Zoology, has no placement opportunities; rather, you'll get a chance to be placed if you are well involved in societies and have developed your skills and communications. But you won't get placements simply by getting a degree; you'll get internships, which may give you a few modes of placement. 4/5% only get placed or interned.
Infrastructure: The college has a well-established, designed, and beautiful campus with the most clean campus in the University of Delhi. The campus has a well-maintained ground, which is big, but the problem is that most of the time they keep it closed, which is not good for us since there is no space to sit on the campus if you are in a lease period. Lots of game facilities are available, such as table tennis, cricket, football, hockey, basketball, archery, yoga, etc.
Faculty: The most beautiful thing about the college is the faculty members; they are well experienced, highly qualified, and helpful, and the teaching quality is awesome. Teachers are so cooperative and complete the syllabus on time; they usually take exams and PPTs, and the semester exams seem too easy. The pass percentage is 95% of our batch.
Other: Since I like studying about the animals' anatomy, physiology, morphology, and behavior and am always curious to know the different species, that's why I opted. The practical file writing should not be there, which is of no use. The college hasn't hosted a festival yet but has hosted two freshmen parties, but they unannounced that this year, 2024, they'll be a celebration festival too.

Shahrukh's Alma Mater. Must work hard to get into.
Placements: Overall, the placements of the college are good but in my course, mostly students didn't go for placements. They opted to go for research and higher studies. The college has a very active placement cell and also, an internship cell which provides varied opportunities to the students.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure and buildings are amazing. The A block is the frontier having wall of fame which attracts students from other colleges. College buildings are well-equipped with AC and Wi-Fi. The canteen is also well built on first floor. The college also offers hostel facility for boys but there is only a site for girl’s hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are very dedicated and passionate (leaving a few exceptions). Method of teaching is also student friendly. The course B.Sc. (Hons) Zoology is not industry based but it provides research based knowledge to the students. It is quite easy to pass the examinations but to get good grades you've to work hard.

It is one of the best colleges in DU.
Placements: Zoology (Hons) students rarely get placements. Students usually end up taking post-graduate programs in courses like Zoology botany, microbiology, bioinformatics, etc. Classrooms also have smart class projectors. Some students also prepare for UPSC exams.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. Though it is not one of the largest colleges of the north campus, the campus area is decent and it has a two-floor canteen, a huge ground, and a beautiful amphitheater. Classrooms are average and are equipped with air-conditioners and fans. The classrooms also have smart class projectors.
Faculty: All the professors in our course are very helpful and knowledgeable. All the professors have Ph.D. degrees and have attained excellence in their respective fields. The semester exams are easy, to the point, and judge the true potential of a student's understanding of concepts.

It is the best college I have ever been to. Shah Rukh Khan also graduated from college.
Placements: About 25% of students from our batch got placed in corporate firms like Zomato, etc. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies like IIFL, Tolaram, Zomato, etc., visit the college for placements. Only 50% of students got an internship in labs, Wipro, etc. The top role offered is the research field.
Infrastructure: The whole college has Wi-Fi, every department has its own labs, library, and classrooms with air-conditioners. The college has a central library, a canteen and a huge ground with every game. The hostel has the best food all over the campus. It provides all games like football, archery, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, etc. It also has a doctor's room.
Faculty: It has one of the best-qualified professors in every department. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students knowledgeable. Semester exams are moderate with a good questionnaire. The average pass percentage is 33%.
Other: It is one of the best colleges at Delhi University. It has a great pack of alumni and a good rank in NIRF. Societies and fests are awesome.

College campus, crowd, opportunities & faculty really makes college worth opting.
Placements: One should not expect placements particularly related to the field of zoology. Students do get selected for research internships across various institutes in the country. If someone is interested in getting into the corporate world, there are great amount of placements and internships opportunities available. Students from zoology also have received job opportunities from companies like Zomato, etc.
Infrastructure: The Zoology department of the college has its own library with all the required books available. Classrooms are air conditioned and spacious. There are separate labs for different course related practicals with all the required equipments present. Wi-Fi facility is available in the campus. There is no girls hostel in the college. So I can't comment upon the hostel facility. Canteen is spacious and food is however okay. Medical and sports room are there in the college. Badminton, archery, basketball, volleyball and cricket facilities are available.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful, cooperative and reachable. Every teacher has his/her own teaching style so one can't particularly comment upon that. However, over all, teachers put in their best efforts to make a concept understandable to the students and are easily approachable in case of doubts. Some teachers are really involved in the research work too. Course curriculum and semester exams are all University based and college has nothing to choose/change in that. However DSE and SEC subjects being offered here are limited.
Other: Campus of the college is really clean and beautiful with a very positive aura. Crowd is very decent and people are really cooperative. The college offers the students to join n number of societies according to their interests which can vary from media to creative writing to singing to dance to drama and so on.

First you should clear you 10+2 then you will eligible to take admission in colleges
Admission in Hansraj College is on the basis of merit basis so according to this you should complete you 12th first then you will eligible for colleges admission

Hi,
As you have scored 86.2 percent marks in class 12th board, so you are eligible to take in Hansraj College under Delhi University. You should apply for the same. And please remember, it might be difficult in first cut off, so wait for the second or third round for B.Sc Zoology course.
