Best college of the University of Delhi without a shadow of doubt.
Placements: The placement record of my course isn't that prolific. Still there is a good scope of getting a good placement. Average package is 9 LPA-12 LPA. There are various internship programmes that students can participate in. 27 percent of students got internships. All in all students graduating from Hindu College have a bright future.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure-wise my course and hostel is top-notch. The beautiful area with a nice and cinematic view makes the campus even more beautiful. There is a beautiful amphitheatre, 3-4 seminar halls, with Sangneria seminar hall being the prestigious one. A lots of gardens and grounds on campus makes it even more prolific.
Faculty: Faculty are cooperative and easy to reach. They are always ready to give suggestions. Faculty are well-educated and highly professional. They are master in their professions. They know how to do both academic and professional encouragement of students and young minds.
Other: It's the ultimate place for academics. Its beautiful environment and prolific exposure make it even more good for students.

NIFR ranking 1 college means it is ranked number 1.
Placements: Not many students choose this course because most students choose it to prepare for civil exams and focus on government jobs. I chose this course because students get internships, exchange programs with foreign countries, and opportunities for further studies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is super good. All rooms have AC and are fully furnished. All rooms have AC and fans. The hostel and canteen food is good in quality and safe. The canteen is clean and big. A variety of food is provided for students in the college.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. Their teaching style is good. There is a research center for research students in the college. Semester exams are not very difficult, but there is an attendance criterion of above 67%. If this criterion is met, there is no problem.
Other: I chose this course for my preparation for government exams. Events, fests, and campus crowd are excellent.

    Honest review and job-focused reality.
Placements: In my course, Mathematics, I could SEE only a few (2-3) students getting placed. This is also because very few students in the mathematics department sign up for placements. I would say that the rate would be 10% for those who applied for placements in the math department. In my course, the highest was around 13 LPA, and the lowest was 5 LPA. 4-5 students got internships, which again depends on how many people applied in the first place. Top roles are sales and marketing, data analysis, and analysis.
Infrastructure: The boys' hostel has been under construction for a long time. It will be finished soon. Overall, the infrastructure is great. We get Wi-Fi access, and the library is amazing. There is no limit to resources because we get high-speed internet access in the library. However, the canteen food is bad: pricey, not cooked properly, not hygienic, too much oil and spices, limited options, and non-veg is sparsely available. I got diarrhea twice, once after having pav bhaji and once after a chicken roll.
Faculty: The only good thing is that the faculty is great and passionate. They love to teach. They love what they are teaching. The problem is the course structure. It is designed by the university. It is highly rigorous. It is completely proof-based. If someone wants to do application-based mathematics, quantitative mathematics, economics, and statistics-based mathematics, then those options are not there. It is not industry-ready per se, but if you can learn extra skills in either finance, consulting, technology, etc., then you will be a good candidate for placements.

Hindu College- Why it should be a choice.
Placements: The placements from the statistics department have always been pretty good as the students master their skills of statistics along with consulting and financial knowledge from various societies. Top recruiters are from Big 3 and Big 4. Approximately 75 percent of the students are placed.
Infrastructure: Airtel's network is the best working network in the premises. The college Wi-Fi works pretty smoothly for all networks. The library has modern computers and an AC/Theater. Boys PG is under construction as of now (2026 Feb), and the girls' hostel is pretty good and strict. Both canteens are nice and affordable.
Faculty: Teachers are very much qualified and trained professionals. They assist not in knowledge-gaining but in career building. Semester examinations are decently difficult, they push you to your limits while expanding them. Most of the students pass the exams.

Hindu College is a great college.
Placements: The placement ratio is quite high, with over 90 percent of students either placed or pursuing higher studies. The highest package last year was 24 LPA, the median is 9 LPA, and the lowest is 4.2 LPA. Mostly consulting and finance firms hire on campus. The on-campus internship ratio is quite low, with only 5–6 students per batch of 120 getting internships, so most people seek off-campus internships.
Infrastructure: The boys’ hostel is still under construction, while the girls’ hostel is decent with all necessary facilities. The library has three floors, is very beautiful, and has almost every book and resource you need. However, the Wi-Fi is very slow and almost never works, and the classroom benches are not comfortable.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful. They provide all important questions and cover all topics well. They are duly qualified and well-versed in their subjects and fields. This course is also very practically relevant.

I love the campus and the campus life.
Placements: The placement ratio is high. Many students who graduated are either placed in big firms or pursue higher studies. The highest package offered last year was 24 LPA. The average package offered was 6 LPA. The lowest package offered was 4.2 LPA. Mostly, consulting firms hire most individuals from the campus. The on-campus placement ratio is average, as 6-8 students get placed from a class of 120. So, mostly people seek off-campus placements.
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure is quite well-maintained. Classrooms are nicely ventilated. Boy's hostel is still under construction. Girl's hostel is very well-made with spacious and air-conditioned rooms. Amenities provided are also top-notch. The old building infrastructure is quite worn out. Wi-Fi speed is low, and benches are not too comfortable. Classrooms are big and air-conditioned. The new academic building is beautiful with a newly constructed huge library that has almost all the required books for all courses, as well as a great environment for studying.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful, duly qualified, and extremely knowledgeable. They provide us with almost all the important questions, and the course curriculum is duly finished. Regular tests are conducted as well. The pass percentage is high, and almost 99 percent of students pass exams.
