My Experience in the Last 2 Years at HETC
Placements: In my department, the placement rate is about 65%, with an average package of 3.5 Lacs. Students have been placed in Pinnacle, ABCI Infrastructure, among others. However, I am thinking of pursuing an M.Tech after completing my B.Tech degree. Our college provides some internships and also BCT training.
Infrastructure: In my department, there are 7 teachers and 3 lab assistants. They are very helpful to the students. However, the Wi-Fi facility is not available in some classes. I am not in the college hostel, so I can't review it. There is an annual sports event in our college with many sports like cricket, football, badminton, shot put, etc.
Faculty: In my civil department, there are 50 students and 10 faculty members, including 3 lab assistants and 7 teachers. The student-to-teacher ratio is good. The teachers are very helpful to the students, and we can interact with them at any time. Exams in our college are a little tough.
Other: It’s a dream to become a civil engineer. One of my brothers suggested this college to me. This course helps me a lot to connect with the real world. There are 4 CA exams, 2 PCA exams, and one final exam in a semester, and the exams are a little tough.

It is a good college to study in because of excellent teachers.
Placements: In our college, almost 70-80% of students are placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 16 LPA. Top recruiting companies like ITD, JMC, etc., visit our campus. Almost 30-40% of students get internships at ITD and Pinnacle. Top roles offered are project manager and assistant engineer. Recently, a student from this college got 11 job offers from different companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not good. Labs and classrooms are excellent. The quality of food is average. We play football, chess, and many more games at our college. Our college held many sports activities. A playground is available. Medical facilities are average. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. Many books are available in the library.
Faculty: Our teachers are excellent and well-qualified. Most of them are Ph.D. holders. Our teachers give us practical as well as theoretical knowledge. Semester exams are good. The pass percentage is 95%. Our invigilators during exams are very strict. Exams are conducted under CCTV surveillance.
Other: Our college should provide extra sports classes. Our college organises many festivals, like Tech Fest, the Science Exhibition, etc.

It is a good college with an appropriate environment for studying.
Placements: About 60% to 75% of students are placed in our course. The average salary package offered in our course is 3.2 LPA. JMC Project Ltd., and ABCI Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd., are the main recruiting companies in our course. Over 50% of students got internships in our course. Supervisor and surveyor are the roles offered by the companies.
Infrastructure: A Wi-Fi facility is present, which is very good. The laboratory is above average. It has every instrument. The experiments are done well. Classrooms are very good and spacious. A Wi-Fi facility is present in the hostel, but the quality of food in the hostel is not good. The food in the canteen is good. It has a clean environment.
Faculty: Teachers are very good. Every teacher helps us. They not only prefer to study from the book but also from the engineering market. They teach us how to develop skills in civil engineering. The course curriculum is satisfying. It helps us to be ready for the industry. The semester exams are very hard. The guards are very strict. It is necessary for the evaluation of students. About 70% to 75% of students pass every semester.
Other: As I have completed my diploma in civil engineering, I chose to complete my higher education, and the course is very good for the current market. In this course, I have the opportunity to develop my skills in engineering, as civil engineering is the mother trade. There should be some industrial visits. Our institute conducts many events. There are tech fests and cultural fests. Annual sports and indoor games are also held at our college. The campus is not very large, but it is enough to enjoy campus life. We also got scholarships.
