It is a university to build your life.

Placements: Almost 90% of the students got placed in the course. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 3.6 LPA. The average salary package offered was 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college were TCS, R & D, CTS, Infosys, IBM, PWC, etc. There were research facilities provided to students in the R & D section of TCS.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was good. We had sufficient classrooms and laboratories were also provided. High-speed internet with Wi-Fi was available. The library was good, and many books were available. We could collect many books and study in the library at any time. The campus was sufficiently large. Hostels quality was good. There is a hospital inside the campus. Many facilities with sports and games were available.

Faculty: Faculty members were highly qualified and knowledgeable. Almost everyone was top-ranked from the institutes like IITs, NITs, Jadavpur University, Calcutta University, etc. Teachers were always helpful and cleared our doubts at any time. The course curriculum was relevant and make students industry-ready.

Other: I’m studying M.E in ECE .so I want to talk about something about ECE branch. The college is good for research work in this college have some excellent faculty, they will help you every time when you have doubt. But the placement is average.so if you want to study this is a perfect place.

Good curriculum with qualified faculty, superb infrastructure with great placement opportunities.

Placements: Being an M.Tech student, you least expect placements. But in IIEST, placements are more than average for M.Tech. All the M.Tech students are allowed in the mass placement drives, but there are limited opportunities. The main recruiters for the mass are CTS, Accenture, IBM, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, etc. For core, it was Tata Steel, Hyundai, Coal India, PWD, L&T, etc. Even there is a drive for students who are passionate about teaching. Almost 80% of the students in our batch got placed. The stipend offered for M.Tech was Rs. 12,400 per month.

Infrastructure: Classrooms and labs are very good. Almost all the facilities are there. The collection of books and journals are very satisfactory. Wi-Fi is enabled all over the campus. There are two grounds for cricket and football (Lords & Oval). Even it has basketball and badminton courts. Few numbers of sports events are conducted here every year. There are a sufficient number of canteens on the campus, and you will find quality food anywhere on the campus. There are about 18-20 hostels. Hostel facility is very good, but there is mismanagement regarding the mess in the hostel.

Faculty: Every faculty in IIEST is well qualified and knowledgeable. But few of the faculty face difficulties in delivering the lecture. The number of journals that are published by the faculty is very good. I must say that not every faculty is not helpful, but most of them are helpful. The course and curriculum are according to the AICTE norms. The amount of industry exposure is also very good. The student to faculty ratio is about 12:1.
