It is one of the oldest colleges in India serving nation since 1856, i.e., British era.
Placements: Placements in our college were below satisfactory level. Nearly 70% of students in the college were placed. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA. The average salary package offered was 4 LPA. Jobs related to research were offered in the college. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Hyundai Motors, Tata Steel Ltd, L&T Infotech, etc., visited the college to recruit students. Management roles and graduate engineer trainee roles were offered to students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was awesome, and the research facilities were world class. Classrooms were equipped with all the technical facilities. The quality of the food served in the canteen was good. I didn't face any infrastructure related issues in the college. Overall, it was a good college to study and gain experience.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college were graduates from renowned institutes. Some are the authors of famous books followed in India. Conventional teaching methods were used to provide knowledge to students. The college provided very less industry exposure. However, internships were provided by the faculty members, in central government labs like CMERI, NML, etc.

Our college has very good infrastructure and facilities and also some renowned teachers from India.
Placements: Placements in our college were good as many companies visited our campus for placements and recruited many students. Some software companies like TCS, CTS, Infosys, Capgemini as well as core companies like Tata Steel, M. N. Dastur, Vedanta, etc., visited our college for campus drives. They all are freshers, so they were offered as GET roles. Besides this, some reputed coaching institutes like E-tutor, FIIT JEE, Pathfinder as well as Vikram Solar visited our college for campus drives. The placement cell is very active in our college. They always try to provide opportunities continuously for the students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. Medical facilities, a central library, Wi-Fi facility, two football grounds, etc., are available on our campus premises. Labs and classrooms are excellent.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very cooperative and also knowledgeable. They all have a PhD degree and are very familiar with the students. Some renowned faculty members of India of various departments are available in our institute. If someone wants to know their subject from the very basic, then our institute is always ready to provide them with that opportunity. I worked on a project offered by Tata Steel. Courses offered by our institute include B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc, B.Arch, PhD, etc. The teaching quality was very good here. Currently, many industries are working with our institute under many projects.

Placements: I've recently joined this prestigious institute so I can't exactly focus on the placement stats. But as I have seen people here are placed in good companies with handsome packages. As I am a part of civil engineering department I can tell you that core companies do visit the campus with attractive offers.
Infrastructure: It is one of the oldest institute of India. And recently few years ago it has become an institute of national importance so you will be able to see a mixture of traditional and modern structures. You will see an example that how British people have built those massive beautiful structures. Moreover the campus is occupied with giant trees everywhere. There is a swimming pool, a gymnasium, two grounds (Lords and oval), library, a basketball court, hospital etc. In short you will get everything.
Faculty: The environment here for studying is the best for students with best faculty members ( atleast for civil engineering I can say). All the teachers are obviously very qualified. Some of them actually don't make us understand well but they're very helpful. Teachers have many publications in international as well as national journals. They are the ocean of knowledge.

It's the best institute for Undergraduate students with good placements and for Mtech and phd it's r
Placements: Only software companies and Engineering Colleges recruits M.Tech Students. In mining and extra discipline branches some good placements are available. For B.Tech students it has very good placement in national and international companies like Google, HSBC Adobe etc. In undergraduate 90% placement and for post graduate it's around 40%. In undergraduate 100% student will get internship in the prestigious companies.
Infrastructure: 50 Acre is the area of campus with full Green Environment. Beautiful Campus at the bank of Ganga called Hugali. It has two multi stories building fir the classes and number of workshop for the practical. It has Bio gas plant to produce bio gas from the wastage of mess. Two big sports ground named Oval and Lords are available for football and cricket. And many other sports facility is available like chess, badminton etc.
Faculty: It has engineering, Management and Bio Medical streams with different specialisation for the under graduate, Post graduate and Doctorate. All the faculty members are well qualified and the alumni of different IITs and International Universities. It has one Model school for the education of 1 too 12 for the children of faculty members.
Other: Number of technical and cultural festival will be celebrated all over the year. Annual cultural festival named Rebecca is being celebrated since more than 50 years. Approximately 5000 students are studying in the college.

I was totally dissatisfied because of bad placements for M Tech students at every year.
Placements: In IIEST, There is no placement for a core company but the Some IT Companies recruits every year but no one joins the IT Companies because they don't have the knowledge of languages of Computer Science and salary is offered very low 3.6 lack per annum that's why post graduate students don't want to join the IT Companies, so finally the placement is not good for M tech Aspirant and Post graduate students.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology is very good and splendid atmosphere and very good facilities for Research and development of new materials, labs digital library, hospital, sports and Games swimming pool, yoga class, hostels and good food etc. And students can get the good facilities, and also students can get the money for their project to complete and it benefited for Research work.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good knowledgeable, talented and helpful, they help at any time when the students need. Some faculty members of IIT are visiting faculty members. Course curriculum is very enjoyable and interesting so students can learn practically and sense the technology.
Other: There are many events in each department for different types of research work in its specializations and REBCCA Is good social event of the students where students can enjoy themselves very much whole night with their colleagues.
