IIIT Bhopal offers BTech for a career in engineering. Admission into the B.Tech is based on their JEE Main scores, followed by JoSAA or CSAB counselling. JEE Main is a national-level engineering entrance exam conducted by the NTA.

IIIT Bhopal offers 225 seats for BTech. The institute offers BTech in CSE, ECE, and IT. The intake is 75 for each specialisation.

To be eligible for the Indian Institute of Information Technology Bhopal’s BTech programme, a candidate needs to have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 75% aggregate with Physics and Mathematics as the main subjects and Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology as one of the optional subjects. However, candidates must have secured at least 60% marks in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale (55% marks or 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale in case of SC/ ST) in (i) BSc / BSc (Hons) / BCA / BIT of minimum three years full-time with Mathematics/Statistics/Equivalent subject as one of the subjects from a recognized University.

• SC/ST candidates must have secured at least 55% marks in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale in (i) BSc/BSc (Hons)/BCA/BIT of minimum 3 years full-time with Mathematics/Statistics/Equivalent subject as one of the subjects from a recognised University.

The seats are divided among the three specilisations offered by the Institution i.e. Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Information Technology. IIIT Bhopal BTech admission starts with the release of JEE Main dates. As per the schedule, to be eligible for BTech admission at this institute, candidates must appear for the JEE Main exam. Thus, under this programme, the institute offers various specialisations, namely M.Tech in Data Science, M.Tech in Artificial Intelligence, and M.Tech in Cyber Physical System.
