To get admission to the MTech at IIT Bhilai, students need to qualify for the GATE entrance exam. Students can apply for GATE by visiting its official website. IIT Bhilai MTech Scholarships 2024
IIT Bhilai offers scholarships for both of its UG & PG courses. The IIT Bhilai MTech scholarships are granted based on students' merit, their category and, parental income. Candidates must meet the basic eligibility requirements to avail the scholarship facility. IIT Bhilai offers scholarships in mainly three categories. The key highlights for all the scholarship categories are as follows:
- Merit-cum-Means Scholarship: Available only to undergraduate students in UR and OBC categories. Students must get a minimum CGPA of 6.0 to avail the benefits of the scholarship.
- Institute SC/ ST Scholarship: All undergraduate students in SC and ST categories are included. The parental income of candidates must not exceed INR 4.5 LPA.
- Institute Free Studentship Scholarship: Only 10% of students from UG courses can apply for the grant of Free Studentship. Their parental income must not exceed 5 LPA for General students and INR 6 LPA for OBC Students.

No, students cannot apply for IIT Bhilai with 52% in graduation. To get admission, students must fulfil the eligibility. The eligibility is to have 55% - 60% in graduation in relevant field from a recognised univeristy.
