No, a hostel is not compulsory at IIT Gandhinagar for M.Tech students. However, the college's hostel is very good. Currently, the college has eight hostels. The campus hostels are air-conditioned and have well-furnished rooms. The academic area is just a short distance from the hostels. The student hostels are largely Wi-Fi enabled.

Yes, GATE 2023 exam dates have been announced. IISc Bangalore will conduct the GATE exam on February 3, 4, 10, and 11. The GATE application form will release on Aug 24 on the official website.. The organising institute for GATE is IISc Bangalore. The exam will be conducted online  for 29 papers. Students will be required to solve 65 questions in 180 minutes .

IIT Gandhinagar admission process is entirely based on the selection of candidates via popular entrance exams such as JEE Advanced and GATE, etc., for courses such as BTech and MTech, respectively. Further, IIT Gandhinagar conducts an institute-level test for the selection MA and PhD courses.
