IIT Gandhinagar offers a Ph.D. course to students at the doctoral level in 13 specialisations. Apart from regular Ph.D. courses, the institute also provides Start Early Ph.D. courses to students. Offered in regular and continuing doctoral programmes (CDP) mode, admission to Ph.D. and Start Early Ph.D. courses is based on an interview round which is followed by a written test, if necessary.
