- The GATE COAP 2026 registration link is active for admission to the ME/MTech programmes. The GATE COAP 2026 round 1 window to view offers and make a decision will be opened on May 11, 2026 (10 AM).
- The JEE Advanced 2026 application registration has started for admission to the BE/BTech course. Students can register until May 2, 2026, for the exam scheduled on May 17, 2026.
- The JEE Main 2026 session 2 result has been announced on the official website for IIT Jodhpur admission to the BTech, BArch and BPlan courses.
- The IIT JAM 2026 counselling registration is now over for admission to the MSc course. Students can submit their choices till May 6, 2026, with the first admission list to be declared tentatively on May 25, 2026.

To be eligible to apply for MBA admission at IIT Jodhpur, candidates must pass Class 12 and graduation in the respective subjects. Candidates who secured minimum 60% aggregate or 6.00 CGPA in their graduation are eligible to apply for MBA. However, there is a five percent relaxation is given to SC/ST/PwD candidates. IIT Jodhpur is located on the outskirts of Jodhpur city, in its sprawling 852 acres campus. Most of the Faculty Members, Officers, and Students reside on campus, while some Faculty and Staff Members opt to stay in the city in private accommodation. Activities like cultural programs, celebrations of national festivals, and workshops of general nature bring together the Faculty and Staff members along with their families and students. The campus also houses “The Jodhpur Club”, which was started with the purpose of building cultural relations with the Academic and R&D Organizations in Sun City. The employees of IIT Jodhpur and their family members use this platform to come together to fulfil their other-than-professional interests (like art and music).
Students enrolled in the MSc programmes are not provided with any assistantship or scholarship from within the Institute. But, candidates enrolled in the MSc programmes can pursue external funding agencies providing assistantships or scholarships. Some of the scholarships for which candidates can apply are INSPIRE scholarship and Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana. These scholarships are offered by the government.
