• BTech and BSc/ BS aspirants must fill out the application form for JEE (Main) through the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) (nta.ac.in). The application fee for boys is INR 625 and INR 325 for girls. Read more

Direct admissions are not possible for courses offered at IIT Kharagpur. The accepted entrance exams are JEE Advanced,  JEE Main, and others. Candidates who have missed the JEE Main exams must not worry. These candidates can apply again the next year. The last round cutoff ranks among the General AI category candidates varied between 466 and 19141. Therefore, to get admission to the college irrespective of the course specialisation, candidates must have a rank of 19141 or below if belonging to the General AI category. Yes, IIT Kharagpur does accept GATE scores for admission to its M.Tech programme. Applicants must have a valid GATE score relevant to the discipline of their qualifying degree. In cases where there is no specific GATE paper available for a particular discipline, XE/XL/XH papers of the GATE examination can be considered. GATE is the accepted entrance exam for admission to IIT Kharagpur's M.Tech programme.

At the undergraduate level, IITKGP offers four and five-year BTech, BSc. Five-year BArch and various other courses to students.
