A great opportunity to achieve your dreams.

Faculty: Faculty is very good and friendly. The way they teach is just too good. The exams are conducted very strictly with high security. Exams are also a little bit tough.

Review of IIT Kharagpur.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They explain concepts in depth and also cover extra topics that are useful. The teaching quality is good. The curriculum is relevant to the course. It is helpful for students aiming for core jobs and makes them industry-ready. Semester exams are slightly tougher compared to other college exams. Similar to IIT grading patterns, but most students pass.

Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Kharagpur.

Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful and knowledgeable (at least most of them are). The course curriculum is fairly relevant and helps build the necessary foundation for students in the field of computer science. Passing exams is actually pretty easy here. Almost everyone passes.

Excellent academic rigour and legacy of IIT Kharagpur.

Faculty: The professors here are world-class. Most of them have decades of industry experience and are very approachable if you show interest in their research. The curriculum is definitely relevant to the industry especially with the focus on modern mining tech and safety. The exams are quite tough. You can't just study the night before and expect a 9 CGPA. The pass percentage is high because the students are smart but the grading can be competitive.

IIT Kharagpur through the lens of an inquisitive student.

Faculty: Most of the professors are quite approachable, highly qualified, and a lot of them possess exceptional teaching abilities. The course curriculum is as relevant as other courses offered in top colleges across India (which one might argue is not very relevant to the modern advancements). It does accomplish its task of making the students industry ready, which is assessed by the semester exams, which one could experience is much easier as compared to the qualifying exam, i.e., the JEE Advanced exam...

Absolutely satisfied because there's nothing bad to say about this college.

Faculty: The main role was carried out by our faculty members explaining the tough curriculum in simple language with a lot of practical examples and laboratory. The core subject curriculum is still relevant for the current industry but students need to work hard and study more that hasn't taught in college.

Good infrastructure & facilities, but mess food is average in some hostels. Academics are nice.

Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified, but only about 60% teach very well. The curriculum is relevant and helps make students industry-ready with some extra personal effort. The semester exams are moderate to difficult, but students can pass easily by studying for about 15 days before the exams. Very few students fail.

A land of opportunities where legacy meets innovation.

Faculty: Some teachers are very good but some are strict and explain less. The medium of instruction is English for all the courses. The course is somewhat relevant and there are some parts which do feel irrelevant. The semester exams are fairly easy. The curriculum has electives that the student can choose according to their interests.

Faculty: Experienced faculty with strong research and industry experience, many of the professors have PHDs or Master's degrees, a high-class degree in their fields. The curriculum covers rock/mineral Science, geomorphology, geophysics, petroleum geology, fieldwork, labs, mapping, etc. That keeps Practical+ theory balanced.

Mother of all IITs - IIT Kharagpur.

Faculty: The professors here are the best in their fields. Every one of them is highly qualified and has studied at the best universities in the world. Well, their approachability and bonding with the students can be debatable, as it depends on the proof of whether he is friendly or not. The curriculum is relevant, after all, it's an IIT. The semester exams are fairly difficult, they test us on all aspects of the subject.

Its the top college in India, you have to qualify for this.

Faculty: The faculty members here are really approachable moreover, the relationship between the faculty members and the students is very good. The exams are held on a semester basis. There are two main exams for theory, which are mid semester and end semester examinations, where for most of the courses the end semester examination holds a weightage of 50 percent and the mid sem holds about 30 percent. The rest of the 20 percent are on the hands of the professors.

An engineering life at IIT Kharagpur is very joyful and good.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, technically qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is very good. They are teaching theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Semester exams are very difficult and tricky. In physics, the weave topic is difficult. I don't know about the pass percentage now.
