The admission to IIT Roorkee is based on entrance exam score of candidates. The institute provides admission to the candidates under two categories:

To be eligible for MBA admission at IIT Roorkee, candidates need to possess a graduation degree/ professional qualification in any stream from a UGC-recognised university with a minimum of 60% aggregate (55% for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates).

Apart from this the entrance exam scores are also considered by the institute for admission to the MBA programme. For IIT graduates the entrance exam scores are not required their admissions are completely based on their personal interview conducted in the institute campus.

The overall average package offered to MBA students over the past three years indicates an improving trend. The official CAT percentile required for admission is not visible to the public, but only to those with login credentials who appeared for the exam. As per the estimated IIT Roorkee CAT cutoff 2025 for the General AI category, 95 percentile overall and 50 percentile sectional was required for admission.

IIT Roorkee offers a two-year MBA programme across five specialisations. It is a full-time residential programme which is divided into eight terms. MBA admission at IIT Roorkee is offered based on CAT score, followed by the performance of candidates in the PI round.To get admitted to DOMS IIT Roorkee Master of Business Administration (MBA) course, applicants must meet the entry requirements - 60.0% in graduation. DOMS IIT Roorkee The total tuition fee for this course is INR 800000 for the entire duration of the course. However, they will be required to submit proof of having passed the qualifying examination with the required percentage or CGPA by the last week of September. The number of seats available in the MBA Program is presently 95.
