The year 2025 cutoff ranks for B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering at IIT Tirupati other than General category are - 4355 for OBC, 2491 for SC, 1059 for ST, 1913 for EWS. - SC/ ST/ EWS/ OBC-NCL community certificate for the candidate belonging to SC/ST/ EWS/ OBC-NCL category (OBC-NCL scholars to bring a non-creamy layer community certificate valid at the time of admission)
- Relieving order/ Resignation acceptance letter from the employer in the case of full-time candidates, if employed
- Relieving letter, NOC/ permission and consent of co-guide from the parent organisation in case of external candidates
IIT Roorkee announced the GATE 2025 result on March 19, 2025. To check the result, candidates will need to enter their GATE enrollment ID, registered email ID, and date of birth. The GATE exam is very prestigious among engineering and Science graduates. It is conducted every year by one of the IITs among the nine IITs. In 2024, IISc Bangalore conducted the GATE exam. The entire process including the application, seat allotment, document upload and fee payment processes of the CCMN will be conducted in online mode for admission to IIT Tirupati and other IITs for MSc. The registration fee for CCMN for the General, General-EWS and OBC category candidates is INR 3,000 and that for the reserved category candidates is INR 2,500.
The opening and closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 13974 and closing rank was 16658. Cut off are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Admission to B.Tech. in Civil Engineering in IIT Tirupati is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE Advanced. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

IIT Tirupati library timing is 9 am to 12 am from Monday to Friday. During Saturday & semester breaks, the timings are from 9 am to 7 pm. On Sunday & public holidays, it is 9 am to 5 pm.
