Faculty is good, but there are not that many placements coming.
Placements: Companies like Tata, Jindal, and L&T come with a decent package, but there is high competition. You need to be highly prepared if you really want to get engaged just after finishing college. If you study hard in this college, you can absolutely touch 9 CGPA.
Infrastructure: In the hostel, there is a lift, Wi-Fi, and 6 days of nonveg food in a week, and the hostel has a big area with its own playground and a badminton court. There is also a common room, a playroom, and a TV room available inside the hostel. If you want, you can live 3 in a room, if you want, you can also live 2 in a room, and if you want, you can also live alone.
Faculty: Faculty is very supportive, and they will help you in your studies in a very good way. Pass percentage is basically high & exams are hard, but if you study properly in class, it wont look tough. Its an autonomous institution, so if you do class work properly, you can easily score in the exams.
Other: Functions are top notch level, and its a function freindly college, you will get to see so many functions during your graduation time.

Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology review.
Placements: Course offered good packages, and about 50% of students received good offers from the company. The highest package is 9 LPA. The lowest package is 5 LPA. Average package is 7 LPA. Top recruiters are like TCS, Infosys, L&T, etc. Most of the students get an internship letter in the 3rd year. Roles like software engineer, backend, frontend, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good and like an NIT. Facilities are also provided with equipment, labs are equipped with modern technology, and classrooms are equipped with all the facilities. Hostels are not easily accessible to all. Some students live in rented and PGs. Mess quality is good. Sports and games facilities are available.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They are approachable and understandable. Course curriculum is relevant and good for making students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult, but we can easily pass the exam with regular classwork and hard work.
Other: I chose this course because this college is very close to my home, as it is just 150 km away from my home. Improvement is needed in the course because there should be more practicals in the course, as it is very necessary. Fest is held every year in December, and connectivity with the alumni is very good.

The college has good infrastructure, mixed faculty experience, decent.
Placements: 50% of students were placed in this course. The lowest package is about 2Rs. 5,000. Adani, JSW, NALCO, and many other companies. Approximately 50% of students secured internships through your course.
Infrastructure: Typical for a college course/department include classrooms, laboratories, a library, and Wi-Fi access. Classrooms are often equipped with multimedia projectors and sometimes smart boards. Laboratories, depending on the field, offer specialized equipment for practical learning and research. Libraries offer a quiet study space and provide access to a diverse range of academic resources. Wi-Fi enables internet access for research and online learning. Classrooms and laboratories are also very protective and new generation.
Faculty: Teachers are very nice. The quality of teaching, teacher helpfulness, and course relevance can vary, but generally, teachers are described as helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is often relevant and designed to make students industry-ready. Semester exams are generally considered difficult, with a pass percentage of around 50%.
Other: These answers will focus on the general aspects of a course and college experience, as the specific details of a particular course and college would depend on individual choices. It will cover the reasons for choosing a course, the positive aspects, and areas for potential improvement, considering factors like events, campus life, and extracurricular activities.

IGIT Sarang is an overall good college.
Placements: Well, placement cell was there at this college. They provided training to students to get jobs under T&P departments. Some students of our batch were genuinely placed in some big and good companies like Tata Steel, JK Papers, Wipro, Infosys, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of this building was very good. There were all basic and advanced facilities on the campus. There was a separate library building. There was a computer laboratory and hi-tech classes with smart boards, etc. There was a huge playground also. There were separate hostels for each academic year.
Faculty: Faculty members were good and knowledgeable. They were helpful when reached out. Some of them which I don't like for their professionalism but most of them were really good and professional. They helped us get internships and with our final year projects and seminar.

About Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology (IGIT).
Placements: Every year atleast 40% of mechanical engineering students are placed. A good amount of placements are available in other branches. Also, a good number of on-campus and off-campus placements come. Usually, Deloitte, Adani, TNT, LNT, and Vedanta types of companies come. I have done IoT and CAD internships which are free and are provided by our college.
Infrastructure: Good facilities are provided. Being a government college washing machines are there. Night canteens are there too. You can also bring your own eating applications. There is Wi-Fi all over the college. I will give a solid 5-star to the canteens.
Faculty: I think the exam taken is pretty good. Teachers are helpful. They give us a good idea about the exam pattern. Knowledgeable classes also happen. Earlier not many girls had been seen in mechanical engineering but in our college, there are at least 20 to 30 girls in each batch. Overall, a 5 star for taking a good and strict exam.
Other: The fest that happens over here is good. Only thing that should improve is the quality of food.

IGIT Sarang has decent faculty, placements, and good facilities, but needs labs and Industry-focuse
Placements: 70% of students were placed, with salary packages ranging from 5 LPA to 10 LPA. Top recruiters included Reliance, OICL, and Tata Steel. 50% of students secured internships at IFFCO, 30% at IOCL, and 20% at companies like RSP. The top roles offered were chemical process engineering, production, and R&D.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi was available only for third-year students. Labs were present but not fully functional, while the library offered excellent physical and digital resources. Third-year students stayed in Bharmos Bhawan, and fourth-year students stayed in Surya Bhawan. The mess provided both veg and non-veg meals, except on Mondays. Sports included volleyball, football, and cricket, with regular matches against NIT Rourkela and Bhubaneswar colleges. Medical facilities were available 24/7 for student healthcare.
Faculty: Teachers were highly qualified, all Ph.D. holders and helpful, providing good guidance. Semester exams were not very difficult, with a pass percentage of 35%, while the curriculum was relevant but needed more industry-focused updates.
Other: The best thing about the course was its diverse applications in chemical engineering, but it needed updates to match global advancements. Events like Horizons (which started on March 8) and fests every six months added to campus life, while post-matric Odisha scholarships supported students financially.
