The college is the best. It is the best for students who are looking for an eco-friendly college.
Placements: Generally, admission is based on merit cum, JEE marks, and 12th marks percentage, which matters most. I heard from seniors that the placements are good only if we are eager to learn new skills so for placements we should learn new skills. The highest package ranges between 30-40 LPA. The average package ranges between 3-4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good with the green environment. Wi-Fi is only available in the library, and the network speed is fast only in the library. All classrooms have a smart board by which learning gets easier. The quality of the food in the mess is good. Food is prepared on a daily basis, and food is different every day.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful if we respect them properly. They all have good knowledge of their main subject. Semester exams are somewhere equivalent to the final exam but teachers will already tell the main question so we do not have to worry about it.
Other: I chose this course as I am interested in coding and making new projects. SIG makes this course more valuable as it focuses on career development.

I am totally satisfied with this.
Placements: The highest placement goes to 44 LPA and the average package is 4 LPA which is pretty good. Faculty is also so responsible and good about it. Placement community is also good but this year's placement is low as compared to the previous year and they provide you internships too.
Infrastructure: Every classroom has a smartboard and air-conditioning facility and in each class, there are 5 fans and the benches are okay not that good. Classrooms are big and Wi-Fi is on the whole campus. There are more than 5 computer labs and each lab has more than 80 computers. It has the biggest library in Indore and lots of books are there. The sports room and canteen food are also good.
Faculty: In this college, you have to study and the faculty is also good. They help you and they are good. Exam levels are tough sometimes and sometimes easy. The passing percentage is 35% it is an RGPV-based college its curriculum is made on the basis of what every student studies.

An eye-opening review of my college, IIST.
Placements: The highest package is up to 44 LPA (approximately $1500 LPA in one case in USD). The average/median package is around 4.95 LPA (NIRF), with some reports citing 4.5 LPA as average, and 4.5 LPA median in earlier years. The reports from earlier years (2022-23) show a median of 3.5 LPA, later rising to 4.5-4.95 LPA.
Infrastructure: The entire campus, including hostels, classrooms, labs, auditoriums, seminar halls, and corridors, is Wi-Fi enabled with a leased line bandwidth recently upgraded to 310 Mbps. ICT-enabled classrooms and labs include digital slates, document cameras, capture systems, response systems, lecture recording (Zoom/Google Classroom), supporting blended learning. A dedicated language and communication lab with 62 computers and licensed software supports spoken English and communication training. The central library is fully computerized with an Integrated Library Management System, OPAC, barcoding, and automated issue/return, with CCTV monitoring. The library holds 73,781 printed books, 10,685 e-books, and hundreds of video lectures and simulations in engineering.
Faculty: The faculty members are generally well-qualified, with many holding PhDs and industry experience. Department heads like Dr. Sathish Kumar Penchala (CSE-AI/ML) and Dr. Rich Gupta (CSE, IoT & Cybersecurity) bring strong research and teaching credentials. Students praise faculty for being approachable, helpful in doubt-solving and mentoring, and combining theory with practical examples. Some students feel that certain faculty need better teaching methods, and that course delivery can at times be too strict or flexible.
Other: Most students highlight the value of SiGNs (Skill Improvement Groups), focusing on coding, AI/ML, full-stack, and hackathons like the Smart India Hackathon. Students get real-world problem-solving guidance from the faculty.

My college has eco friendly campus and very good teaching.
Placements: IIST Indore attracts several prominent companies across various sectors like Google, SOC, and Cisco. Around 90% of students get placed, and almost all get internship opportunities with a good stipend. My college offers B.Tech degrees in CSE, Civil, Mechanical, and AIML.
Infrastructure: My college, IIST, has good infrastructure, like computer systems and digital boards. My college library has around 4,000 books and provides nice chair-and-table facilities, which help me a lot.
Faculty: Almost all faculty members are Ph.D. qualified and have good knowledge about their subjects. The job training, like aptitude skill improvement, is provided through a group that teaches us coding languages from the 1st semester. The college also teaches us good communication skills. Faculty members and staff are very good at teaching and help all students with study-related topics.

The campus is good. But the behavior of the faculty members is not good.
Placements: Our college provides average placements. They provide placement opportunities for students and they also get placed. The highest salary package offered is 21 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered ranges between 2 LPA - 3 LPA. Students need to work hard to get placement because very crowd is high in B.Tech.
Infrastructure: The campus is good. The infrastructure is very well-maintained. Labs are outdated. All the necessary equipment is present and in good condition. The facilities include five pickleball courts, one basketball court, and a ground for cricket and football, all of which are also in good condition.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified. Their behavior towards students is good. The other nontechnical faculty's behavior is not good. Semester exams are dependent on RGPV because they make question papers. Semester exams are moderate to tough. They gave assignments to complete on time.
Other: The course curriculum needs to improve. We are taught engineering graphic, as we don't need it.

As you have cleared JEE Mains and you have passed your 12th with first division, you can easily get IT branch in various private engineering colleges.
But it will be a bit difficult to get enrolled in IT in a government college.
But, for sure, you can get IT in private institutes easily.

NO, there is no other exam conducted except JEE Mains for admission but you can try out for college level counselling (CLC) in which students get admission on their 10th and 12th percentage.
