What is JAGMAT?

JAGSoM (formerly IFIM Business School) conducts the JAGMAT exam for admission to its MBA and PGDM programs. While JAGMAT is required, candidates must also provide scores from national exams like CAT, XAT, or GMAT. The exam is used to fill more than 300 seats across different MBA specialisations offered at JAGSoM. JAGMAT is held weekly in an online proctored format and consists of three sections: English Language Proficiency (ELP), Quantitative Aptitude (QA), and Logical Reasoning (LR).

JAGSoM Mumbai MBA Admissions are entrance-based. To secure admission at JAGSoM MBA candidates need to have valid score in CATXATGMATNMATMHCETMATCMAT/. Additionally, the candidates need to appear for JAGMAT as well and score more than 40%. 

 Also, candidates who wish to pursue MBA ( 1 year in JAGSoM, Greater Mumbai + 1 year in Partner Business School (SUNY, KEDGE or University of Texas, Arlington) must also appear for IELTS or TOEFL as per the requirement of the partner schools.

No. JAGMAT exam does not have any sectional time limit. Candidates can answer questions from any section as per their convenience within the 90 minute window.

For PGDM admissions at JAGSOM, candidates must fulfill following admission eligibility requirements:

Educational Qualification:

To qualify for admission at JAGSoM, candidates must fulfill below mentioned degree requirements:

  • Graduate (10+2+3 OR 10+2+4) from a recognized university
  • Minimum 50% aggregate (General category)
  • Minimum 45% aggregate (Reserved category)

Work Experience

As per JAGMAT eligibility requirements, released by Jagdish Sheth School of Management, work experience is not mandatory for admission through JAGMAT exam. Fresh graduates and early-career professionals can apply for admission at the institute.
