JAGSoM (formerly IFIM Business School) conducts the JAGMAT exam for admission to its MBA and PGDM programs. While JAGMAT is required, candidates must also provide scores from national exams like CAT, XAT, or GMAT. The exam is used to fill more than 300 seats across different MBA specialisations offered at JAGSoM. JAGMAT is held weekly in an online proctored format and consists of three sections: English Language Proficiency (ELP), Quantitative Aptitude (QA), and Logical Reasoning (LR).

For PGDM admissions at JAGSOM, candidates must fulfill following admission eligibility requirements:

Educational Qualification:

To qualify for admission at JAGSoM, candidates must fulfill below mentioned degree requirements:

• Graduate (10+2+3 OR 10+2+4) from a recognized university
• Minimum 50% aggregate (General category)
• Minimum 45% aggregate (Reserved category)

Work Experience

As per JAGMAT eligibility requirements, released by Jagdish Sheth School of Management, work experience is not mandatory for admission through JAGMAT exam. Fresh graduates and early-career professionals can apply for admission at the institute.

JAGMAT Syllabus 2026

JAGSoM prescribes the syllabus for JAGMAT exam. There are three sections in the exam, namely, - English Language Proficiency, Quantitative Aptitude, and Logical Reasoning. Candidates who wish to appear for the entrance test to get admission at Jagdish Sheth Business & Management School must know the topics included in all sections of JAGMAT syllabus.

JAGMAT Preparation 2026

For better preparation and effective result in JAGMAT exam, candidates can follow points shared below:

• Understand the syllabus and exam pattern.
• Prepare a study plan according to the time left for exam.
• Get books and other study material for preparation.
• Practice as much grammar and mathematical problems as possible.
• Learn & understand the basic concepts, rules and formulas.
• Make a notebook for formulas & rules for daily revision.
• Practice past papers, mock tests and sample papers.

Candidates filling the JAGMAT application form will be issued the admit card to take the virtual exam. JAGSoM will issue the JAGMAT 2026 admit card via an email, along with details on the exam date and slot. Additionally, candidates will come across test software and the virtual exam process via email. Candidates can download JAGMAT hall ticket and take a printout before starting the exam. The invigilator will cross-check the details mentioned in JAGMAT admit card and photo ID proof on the exam date.

PGDM admissions based on JAGMAT 2026 is a rolling process. JAGSoM releases the results within two days of the process. Candidates will receive an email stating the JAGMAT result and status of admission. Along with the scores, candidates will find their status in the further admission process.
