Jesus and Mary College is not what we think it is.

Placements: This college provides decent placement opportunities. People usually rely on outside sources, though. Packages are decent for a South campus college, but it is like any other college placement. These are not very long-lasting but can suffice. Overall, it is okay.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of JMC is like no other and the best in fact. The campus is clean, organised, and neat. It makes us wonder if this is even a Delhi University college or not. The library is in pristine condition, and the classrooms are decent enough. There are no air-conditioners.

Faculty: The course curriculum is good enough. There is not much we can say about an undergraduate course. But it is interesting as it is a combination of 2 different subjects. It makes one want to learn. The course curriculum is not redundant, and is sort of relevant.

Outstanding infrastructure, intellectual and motivated crowd and societies, decent placements.

Placements: JMC's placement scenario is not anything extraordinary. A few top companies do come for campus placements and take some of the brightest minds, but average placement is about 4-5 LPA. Internships are also decent - a few great ones here and there, that’s it. They do not reveal the placement data, so it’s quite ambiguous.

Infrastructure: JMC is known for its splendid infrastructure. It is filled with lush green trees and beautiful space for students to relax in. We have two common rooms, a three-floored library, a canteen, two amphitheaters, different stores (sprint shop, book shop, mother dairy) on campus, two huge fields, big spacious classrooms, a gym, and a wonderful hall (Thevenet Hall). The facilities are truly the best out there. JMC does not have a hostel.

Faculty: Teachers are definitely qualified and knowledgeable. Some departments are better than others, like psychology and the English department, which have pretty good faculty. DU exams are very easy. One can certainly pass without difficulty. We have relevant courses.

Other: Awesome extracurricular opportunities, very active societies, super helpful crowd, great connectivity and safety!

JMC - mix of private and government.

Placements: I am doing psychology and human resource management for my course. There aren't any specific placement opportunities. Although I have heard for commerce people, it's nice. For psychology, till now, I haven't heard if any other college also gets internships directly.

Infrastructure: The campus is pretty and very well maintained, but the classrooms are very average. Sometimes even the chairs are not enough, or the lighting or fans are not proper. It gets extremely hot in summers because we don't have ACs, but the outside is very spacious and beautiful, it's good.

Faculty: Teachers are nice and teach well. There isn't any particular issue with teachers as such. Just that in this college, you will have a lot of classes. I see other DU colleges adjusting easily, that might not happen here. You will have to study a lot of weird subjects too because of DU, but some teachers might even be very helpful.

Other: I would describe JMC as the middle way between DU culture of absolutely no stress and private college because we do have an attendance criteria, and teachers are not cooperative that easily, as I see in Maitreyi.
