Review of JIS College of Engineering.

Placements: The placements are very good. I was the first person in my batch to be placed in college. I was shortlisted for Capgemini, Kolkata. Almost all in my friend circle and 80% of my batch got shortlisted. Around 30 to 40 companies came to our college.

Infrastructure: There are separate and chief hostels for boys and girls, along with a playground. The environment around is very peaceful and healthy. One of the hostels for girls is named Nivedita. Special news is provided at the weekend. Healthy food is served daily.

Faculty: All the faculty members are very helpful and experienced in their respective fields. You can feel free to share academic and co-curricular activities-related problems. The faculty related to physics and mechanical are good. Our principal is also very helpful and strict.

Campus placements are good. It is located in Kalyani, which is itself a compliment.

Placements: Placements are good in our college as many of our classmates got placed in good companies. Somehow placement did not reach, so our college was not able to give 100% placements. I am from the civil department, and from the final year, no one got placed anywhere. It could be changed.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good because our department has its own way and own environment. Our civil department building has its own fame, and the nearby view after classes always attracted. We had our best gym in our civil department buildings.

Faculty: Faculty members are very good in our college as they are very familiar with their students. They are also very friendly, and they help in every aspect. A faculty member named Debargha Banerjee helped us in everything. They treat us as a friend, as a mentor and as a guardian. Every faculty member of the civil department is very good.

Other: Our batch is superb in all aspects of every field. We are satisfied with our mentors, teachers and our college. We had fun and got valuable lessons.

Placements: Different companies visit our college every year. Almost 90-95% of students are placed every year. The average package offered is around 4-5 LPA. Students from our college are even placed in foreign companies and are doing great in their field.

Infrastructure: All the facilities are up to the mark. During lockdown last year, our library delivered books to students' home. Food quality in the canteen is good at affordable prices. Our cricket and football teams won various tournaments at the state level.

Faculty: The teachers are very skillful and also explain with real-life examples. They are always ready to help us no matter what's the time is. Every student is provided with a mentor who is always ready to help, no matter what the problem is.

The civil engineering department is good, but the wellness varies department wise.

Placements: Almost 30% of the students got placed from our department. The highest salary package offered is 3.6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.44 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are Capgemini and Pinnacle. Maximum students got internships at Vardhan Consulting Engineers. Project in-charge role is offered in our course.

Infrastructure: Our college is very big, and Lots of classrooms are available here. There is also a big playground, auditorium hall, library and also flip classes. The hostel is very bad. The food available is very bad, and there is a canteen and a common room.

Faculty: Our department faculty members are very good. They are also very helpful if we have any problem. They don't hesitate to help us. They are also highly qualified, and their teaching quality is good. They provide us notes, and before exams, they also give us suggestions.

Other: I have a backup, and most of my family members are involved in construction, so I have chosen this course. Still, our college didn't give perfect jobs.
