Decent placements and infrastructure, but faculty and practical exposure to AI-ML could improve.
Placements: 75-80% of students are placed. The highest package is 15 LPA, and the lowest package is 3.5 LPA, with an average package of 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Cognizant, HP, CGI, and others. About 70-75% of students secured internships in analytics and software departments. Roles offered include ML engineer, AI engineer, data analyst, and software developer.
Infrastructure: We have a total of three labs in our department equipped with new versions and updated systems. The infrastructure has recently been upgraded. Classrooms are very clean, and we have a secure and fast Wi-Fi connection. We have all new systems in our labs. Hostel food is okay but not as good as much. Facilities are minimal sports and games will be conducted.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and some of them are okay. The quality of teaching is good it is all based on the teacher who takes it and how they guide you. Our department boasts a good pass percentage, and the semester is manageable enough for students to pass comfortably. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant, but I am unsure if it fully prepares students for the future.
Other: Nothing to say about why I chose, but after getting into this college I am thinking why I have joined as our department HOD is very strict. Nothing I wish to improve in my course. The fest that happens in our college is not up to the mark it's a very bad fes,t and the campus is good.

Just an average college, join if you plan on going through CET, management is not worth it.
Placements: Placements are pretty decent although it's been average. In the previous year due to the recession, those passing out in 2025 will be the first batch in AIML. The college states that the highest package is 43 LPA, and average salary is 4 LPA. The companies that come for placements are pretty good.
Infrastructure: Labs are good and classrooms are decent. But there are more trees than students in the college. Library also provides a wide range of course books to choose from. They have Wi-Fi but the network is bad. They might be using jammers but don't understand why because it's an engineering college. Hostel food is good, but the girl's hostel is inside campus and the curfew is at 7:00 PM. Honesty looks like jail to me but the boy's hostel is outside and its actually good. Its curfew is around 10.30 PM.
Faculty: Just like every other college, some faculty members are good and some are bad. But engineering is mostly about self-study so faculty members do not matter. But some faculty members will give you a hard time. The curriculum is basically VTU which is kind of old-school at this point. VTU exam correction is strict and students should learn extra skills to make them industry-ready.
Other: They do one fest, once a year which is called Verve and that will be actually good. But there is no campus or not much social life and the crowd is very bad.

Life at JSSATEB ( campus, infra, Faculty and placement etc.).
Placements: The highest package in 2022 was 45 LPA, and in 2021, it was 43 LPA. Many good companies like TCS, Deloitte, Mercedes Benz, and PayPal visit our college for recruitment. As of now, according to NIRF data, the average package is 6 LPA, and a slight recession in placement has occurred over the past two years.
Infrastructure: We have a 21-acre lush green campus with grounds and courts to play many sports. There are many benches around campus to sit, eat, and relax. All students are lively. There is a big library filled with a variety of books for academic purposes. All classrooms are enabled with projectors. Many clubs are present in the college. The dance club, XSATT, is one of the best in Bengaluru. They have always been winners or runners-up in every competition. In fact, I just attended an audition today, and I was mind-blown by their performance. I am not well aware of how other clubs are. The college has well-constructed labs equipped with good monitors. All clubs have their social media pages for updates.
Faculty: Lab classes are held every week. All faculty teach very well, except for one Python teacher who moves between slides quickly, which makes it hard to take running notes. But otherwise, all faculty are very supportive. Most teachers have good experience and clear your doubts. Most teachers allow you to arrive late in the morning if you have a valid reason, except for an electronics communication professor.
Other: Good things: I love my campus; it is beautiful, spacious, and green. The number of fests is decent, but they are really worth attending. The campus is very well-maintained and hygienic, with good, clean washrooms.
Bad things: The minimum attendance percentage is high (85%) and 75% if you have taken leave for any medical or health issues. The canteen is small, and the food is average.

My ongoing beautiful experience.
Placements: Placements are provided to students during the final year. The highest package was around 15 LPA in the year 2023. New branches have been started. One of them is the AIML. Nowadays we can see that AIML has a good name in the market. No internships are provided.
Infrastructure: Amazing infrastructure and ambiance. There is a small pond inside the campus itself. All kinds of books with different authors are present in the library. The quality of the food inside the mess is average but many varieties are available. No non-veg is provided.
Faculty: The faculty of this college are average. Many of them are new to this course and some of them are doing their specialisation. The teaching quality of this college is good. Semester exams in this college is a bit difficult to pass because correction is done by VTU.

My ongoing experience at JSS College.
Placements: When I asked my seniors, they said that this college provides a good number of placements. Many companies, like IG Infotech, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, and Capgemini, come to this college every year. Internships are provided every semester, but they are conducted without a stipend.
Infrastructure: The ambiance of this college is good. We can find greenery everywhere. This course has been newly started at this college. Wi-Fi facilities are not so good at this college. Also, there are only a few canteens inside the college. Hostels are neat and clean and the quality of the food is good.
Faculty: In this college, the faculty helps students in all things. They give guidance during their final-year projects. We can give them a 9 out of 10 for their teaching quality. Semester exams are a little difficult but with good efforts, we can easily pass the exams.

Placements: As we know, the importance of AIML has been increasing drastically. JSS is one of the best colleges to pursue AI-ML courses. The highest package provided for this course is around INR 10 LPA to 15 LPA. Many students are opting for this course nowadays. Internships are also provided.
Infrastructure: After seeing this college, I can say that this college has the best infrastructure. The campus of this college is beautiful. Hostels are situated outside the campus. The quality of the food available inside the mess is acceptable. This college also gives utmost importance to sports and games.
Faculty: The teachers at this college are very helpful. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Semester exams are easy to pass but only with good effort. The teachers at this college are amazing and help students with their final-year projects and academics.

My ongoing experience at JSS college.
Placements: Engineering is being done by many students nowadays. So, the competition for securing a job is more in CSE. Doing a specialisation such as AI-ML which stands a good market in the future is very good. This course was started in 2022 at JSS College. The highest package provided by his college is around 10 LPA for this branch.
Infrastructure: All the branches are situated in a single building in this college. Wi-Fi facilities are very weak in this college. The facilities in the library are amazing. We can find all kinds of books inside the library. Hostels are located outside the campus.
Faculty: As we know the teachers in engineering colleges do not teach students all the concepts. But in this college teachers give utmost guidance to students in all aspects. For the teaching quality, we can give them an 8.5 out of 10. It is very easy to pass semester exams just by studying a few days before the exams.

Good college, definitely worth to consider .
Placements: CSE-AIML is a new branch introduced just last year and my batch is the second batch studying so placement has not yet begun for this branch. But normally in our college, placement for computer science branches are very good with an average package of about INR 7 lpa and maximum of INR 45 lpa.
Infrastructure: All the classrooms are well-equipped with good WIFI coverage and a projector. Labs are also good and well-equipped. The library is the best it has a lot of physical books as well as e-books to study and has good WIFI as well. Overall the infrastructure is good.
Faculty: Faculty are all really good, even an assistant professor has a doctorate degree and all the professors are well qualified and knowledgeable. The curriculum is followed from VTU and is really good and relevant. The students pass with industry experience through internships.
Other: I chose this course as I personally had an interest in the course and it is a booming field all over the world. Events are conducted in every semester and are conducted very grandly .
