Good college, strong academics, diverse societies, & plenty of opportunities.

Placements: The course is more useful if you already have a particular career path in mind. Campus hiring does bring openings in areas like banking, finance, sales, and operations. But the options can vary from year to year. In 2025–26, the college records 130+ placements overall. The top package is 26.8 LPA, and the average CTC is 11.96 LPA.

Infrastructure: The college setup is fairly usable for everyday student life. You have the library, computer facilities, classrooms, sports grounds, and a canteen. So, the basics are covered. That said, the campus has quite a few older sections where maintenance could be better. Some classrooms and common areas also feel dated. Wi-Fi is available, but isn't something I'd completely rely on. Overall, nothing major is missing, but facilities aren't exactly modern either.

Faculty: The academic experience is mostly positive. Some professors are particularly good at making the subjects easier to follow. The programme gives you exposure to different areas of commerce and business rather than keeping things limited to one field. The workload is manageable if you don't leave everything for the last few weeks. Exams are generally fair, certain subjects are more demanding than others.

Overall, the college is average in all things.

Placements: In my course, which is the B.A. Program, there are not many placements from the college. But the courses related to Statistics have good placements. Recently, reports say that a Kirori Mal College student got one of the highest packages in 2024. The average package is also good.

Infrastructure: There is no department for the B.A. Program. Classrooms are allotted but need preparation. Wi-Fi is also weak. Overall, the infrastructure is average. Hostel facilities are available for boys. More seats for B.A. Program students and it also provides good quality mess food. Sports and games facilities are also good.

Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified, but many teachers lack good teaching quality. The course curriculum is highly relevant for the future. Semester examinations are predictable, and the level of difficulty is average to hard. The passing percentage is around 35% in every subject.

The vintage college of modern era.

Placements: College provides a lot of placement opportunities. Very huge companies such as Tata, Nippon, etc., recruit students from our college with a balanced package. The top roles offered in a course are management, ground work, public relations, communications, etc.

Infrastructure: Although the college infrastructure is a bit old, giving it old class look but it is provided with advanced technology. Wi-Fi is available at the college. The classrooms are well lit, and projectors are available in most of the classes. There is a huge library with a variety of books. Apart from that the college hostel is the best part with the best food in Delhi University hostels. A lot of sports and other opportunities are also provided for instance, the basketball team of KMC is the best.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and qualified. They have a lot of knowledge of the subjects and provide one on one interaction and guidance. The curriculum of a course is relevant to our future aspirations. The semester exams which are moderately difficult, help us revise the things as well as make us future-ready.

Other: I chose this course on will, I wanted to experience multileteralism of this course, gaining information about different aspects which directly directly help me and my future goals.

My college life experience - is it good or bad.

Placements: I am involved in B.A. programme (Political Science and History) and this is my course. There are 10 to 15% of students who got placed in my course. The highest salary offered is Rs 60,000 per month. The lowest salary offered is Rs 25,000 per month. I have no idea about the top recruiting companies. In my college, only 10% of students got internships from my course because most of the internships were not paid. Top roles offered are professors, teachers, etc.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good. Our college was built in 1948, so it was based on an old theme. Facilities are based on courses like I chose B.A. program so that's why I have limited facilities to access. There are 10 to 15 libraries in my college but we are not allowed to access the libraries. We can access faculty members' Wi-Fi. There are many classrooms in my college but their facilities are poor because in some classes there are no fans, whereas some have air-conditioners and some do not.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good but not very good. But they are based on students. Semester exams are not too much difficult but they are very lengthy. Passing percentage is 50%.

Other: In my batch, there are 110 students which is very vast. The best thing about my course is that we can learn many things about our past and our neighboring countries. I wish that we had access to libraries at least once.

Placements: An average of 35% of students get placed annually in this course. The highest package offered this year is 18 LPA, and the lowest package is about 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies this year are Accenture and Deloitte among others. Majorly, the roles offered are related to management and marketing.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure includes smart classes, labs, and halls for conducting various seminars, lectures, and doubt sessions. Students are provided with decent facilities at the hostel. It has good quality meals, furnished and well-ventilated rooms, and a clean environment.

Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and knowledgeable and always aid students to go through various degrees of challenges and discovering new opportunities. Though the course isn't completely job-oriented, it really prepares students for the industry through various skill-enhancing disciplines. Semester exams tend to be more tricky and lengthy. The pass percentage here is about 90%.

Other: The best thing about this course is it is a multi-disciplinary course covering various aspects that really help students explore a variety of disciplines. One thing that needs to be better in this course is its too much reliability over the theory aspect of the disciplines. The events and fests are organised frequently by various societies of the college. The campus crowd is amazing with students always trying and exploring the possibilities, along with trying to make an inclusive environment for learning.

Overall, our college has good facilities, faculty, and placements.

Placements: The placement experience can be quite different depending on the subject combination and what kind of work you want to get into. There are openings in areas like content, HR, sales, and business operations. Students aiming for specialized corporate roles may need to apply outside campus as well.

Infrastructure: The campus has a lot of character, but the infrastructure is a mix of old and usable. The library is one of the most useful facilities, especially around internals and semester exams. There is also a sports ground, computer facilities, and common areas where students can sit between classes.

Faculty: The flexibility is probably the biggest advantage academically. You get to study different subjects instead of being restricted to one narrow area. This works well if you are still figuring out what you want to pursue. Teaching quality varies between professors, but there are some genuinely good teachers who encourage questions and discussions.

Other: Our college has a great variety of societies. They help people choose an extracurricular activity to add more to their personality.

For personality development, lots of opportunities due to college societies and academic environment

Placements: Placement is unlikely to happen in the B.A. programme as most of the students do B.A. to give government exams like UPSC and SSC but the academic environment is good for B.A. courses but in courses like economics honours and B.Com placement is good but not 100 percent.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is decent. The campus is small but lively. You can spot people doing everything from studying to dancing, gossiping, and debating but the most effective is the library. You get two very good, big reading rooms with AC which have a very academic environment and provide a good number of books.

Faculty: Teachers are very decent in teaching but if someone has a personal bond with them then they can learn a lot from them. Other than that, the curriculum is very good and productive but you have to study on your own but with that you can have a decent amount of understanding of your course.

Other: The environment and energy are good but you need to find good people who are academically competent who really help to build your personality.
