Life at AMU through my eyes.
Placements: Well, since I opt for a B.Sc. course, you do not get many placement opportunities. Instead of focusing on placements, the institute emphasizes increasing your passion for the subject. After that, you may become a professor, researcher, or teacher, depending on your choice, but placement opportunities in B.Sc. are almost negligible.
Infrastructure: You get a girls' campus if you opt for the B.Sc. course at AMU, so do not expect gender diversity. The buildings are quite old, and there are issues with electricity and water. However, you find campus amenities such as shops, gyms, libraries, a swimming pool, and a sports club. Many festivals are organized from time to time, so there is plenty to explore.
Faculty: Faculty is well-experienced and educated, highly knowledgeable, and very helpful in guiding you for your future studies or plans. It is important to maintain a healthy relationship with them and be active in class to make the most of the opportunities available.
Other: There are a lot of scholarships available, so you can check them out.

One of the best department of AMU.
Placements: AMU's B.Sc. Hons. Physics course has about 70% placements. The highest package is 6 LPA, the lowest is around 3 LPA, and the average is 4.5 LPA. The top recruiters are ISRO, DRDO, and BARC. About 50% of students secure internships in organizations like CSIR and IISC. Roles span from research assistants to scientific analysts.
Infrastructure: The department of physics infrastructure is very good and beautiful; we have wi-fi available both in the hostel and campus; the classrooms have facilities like projectors and AC; and the labs are advanced and one of the best in India. Except for the mess food, the hostel facilities are good. There is a good variety of food available in the canteen. Medical services and tests are free for students. Sports and game tournaments are held regularly.
Faculty: The teaching quality in the physics department is very good. Teachers are knowledgeable and qualified senior professors, but they are not very helpful. The course curriculum is good but lengthy. Semester exams are difficult and if you score well in sessions, then it can help for finals.
Other: Teaching and facilities are very good and very affordable.

Infrastructure: Hostel facilities in azeez-un-nisa hall are not very great due to provost and administration corruption the food quality is horrible canteen staff is rude, wi-fi is good, classrooms are good In department, library is helpful, Medical facility is below average I am scared if I fall sick will I get proper treatment, Sports facility is below par compared to other hostels.

The teachers at our college have good teaching quality.
Placements: The placement rate of our course is around 50%. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Top research institutions and educational organisations visit our college. Around 35% of students got internships at DRDO and ISRO. Roles offered are research assistant and lab technician.
Infrastructure: Our college offers basic facilities. Wi-Fi, labs, and a reading room are average. The hostel facilities need improvement. The mess does not provide good food. It does not take any action if we complain about the food. Medical facilities are available in both health services and JNMC. The hostel provides limited sports and games options.
Faculty: Teachers are highly helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is excellent. The curriculum is relevant. It prepares students for the industry. Semester exams are challenging. All subjects are difficult. Our college has a good pass percentage.

Review of B.Sc. (physics) department, Aligarh Muslim University.
Placements: 30–40% of students get placed in research programs as well as in companies too. The highest package is something around INR 10–12 lacs per annum, and the lowest is around INR 5–6 lpa. The top recruiters are Wipro, Isro, Drdo, PW, and many other companies and institutes too. The internship is based on your GPA. If you score well, you have this internship opportunity from these companies.
Infrastructure: The facilities at the university are amazing. Different types of books are available to read at the Maulana Azad Library. It is not recommended to buy books from outside the quality of the food; the canteen is okay; the classrooms are teach-enabled; the facilities in the hostel are subject to notice; sometimes the food isn't given properly; and the rooms were not allowed at the time.
Faculty: The curriculum is designed on the latest pattern, and yes, it is relevant to making students industry-ready. The portion that lacks physical knowledge is good, but professors only focus on the theory portion. The pass percentage is 33%–40% in the semester as well as sessional.
