LD College of Engineering review.

Placements: From the previous year's record, about 80 to 90 percent of students are getting placement, so I can say 85 percent is the average placement. Now if I talk about packages, then the highest package is 19 lacs per annum, and the average is 15 lacs per annum. Companies don't approach for placement; we have to approach for placement in companies.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very moderate; you can say okay. The campus area is very large and open and very green. One best thing about this college is you will get every type of sports ground and lab for practical and for many particular events. Facilities provided within the classroom are very moderate; benches are old and the blackboard is also old. Wi-Fi is available in special classrooms and libraries. The hostel provides the worst facility; the washrooms are super dirty, and the cleanliness of the food is like poison.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable, but there are some teachers who are very strict about their assignments, attendance and submissions. Teaching quality is moderate; many teachers are not so good at teaching. Yes, this course curriculum is very relevant and it makes students ready for industrial-level work. Semester exams are not too hard, not too easy, moderate; if you study well, you will get good marks. The passing percentage is around 35%.

Other: If you are finding any very cheap and budget-friendly college with enough placement packages within Gujarat, this college is the best option for you.

Value for money college with decent placement opportunities.

Placements: Around 80 to 90 students get placed every year. The highest package offered was 18 lakh per annum, the average package was 4.5 lakh and the lowest was around 3 lakh. Top recruiters included L&T, Siemens, TCS and Reliance Industries, offering roles such as control systems engineer, instrumentation engineer and software developer.

Infrastructure: Our department is equipped with well-maintained labs, including control systems, PLCs, and automation labs. Classrooms are spacious with smart boards , and the campus has Wi-Fi access, though it can be slow during peak hours. The library is stocked with relevant textbooks and reference materials for all courses.and the hostel, rooms are basic but adequate, with 4 shared accommodations and essential furniture. The mess food is decent at an affordable price.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, often providing practical examples to explain concepts clearly. And the course curriculum for Instrumentation and Control Engineering is largely relevant for industry needs. Semester exams are moderately difficult but fair, with a pass percentage of around 70-80%.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in automation and technology. The best things about the course are the practical lab sessions and the industry relevant curriculum focusing on control systems and instrumentation. Campus has a vibrant atmosphere with events like Lakshya and TechFest and the crowd is friendly as well as diverse.

It is a very good college with good faculty, and the best placements.

Placements: Our batch has around 85 students (including D to D). In 2022, around 22 students got placed in Nirma, Adani, Reliance, etc. The highest package offered in 2022 in IC is 14 LPA.

Infrastructure: The facilities like labs, classrooms, and halls are very good. All the required instruments are available in laboratories. Workshops and industry visits are organised. Hostel facilities are poor, and not all the students can get hostel admission. The food quality is average.

Faculty: Teachers are very well-qualified and knowledgeable. Almost all the teachers are post-graduates and Ph.D. holders. The course developed by GTU is helpful for us to work in the industry and also for Masters. The semester exams are conducted by GTU, as our college is affiliated with it. Exams are moderate, and the passing percentage is 33%.

Other: The main motto for choosing this course is my interest in the instrumentation course. It would be even better if GTU made plant visits mandatory every semester for a better understanding. The campus is very good, and the Wi-Fi connectivity is good. Scholarships like Digital Gujarat, MYSY, etc., are available.

It is an excellent college with great value for money.

Placements: This year the placements have been outstanding in our course. About 70% of the total students got placed with an average package of 4.5 LPA. Top companies like L&T, Reliance, and Cairn recruited the students. Students also got placed in IT companies like TCS from our course.

Infrastructure: The labs have sufficient equipment and machines to carry out practicals. The college has a library for reading technical books. A hostel facility is available. There is a canteen and mess where the food is economical and tasty. There is a cricket ground, badminton court and volleyball area in the college.

Faculty: The course is excellent, it is related to the domain where we would work in the future. Teachers are helpful and know the industry. The semester exams are not too tough to clear if the syllabus is read carefully. There are reference books available in the market which would help to study the course.

Our college has good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: About 70% of students were placed in my course. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA from top recruiting companies for our course. About 50% of students got internships from our course. Top roles are offered in my course.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, nice classrooms, and also a library are available in our college. The facility is very nice in our hostel. The food served in the mess and canteen is very nice.

Faculty: The teachers in our college are very nice. They are helpful and knowledgeable. The semester exam in college is very difficult and the pass percentage is 33%.

Our college offers placements and students achieve.

Placements: Placements are very good in this college. Many core companies come for placements in almost all branches. The highest salary package offered in 2020 was 11 LPA in MG Motors Ltd. from the electrical engineering branch. The average salary package offered for core branches is from 4 LPA to 5 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is overall good and a new hostel is now open in L. D. New hostel facilities are like home. Mess food is good and worth the money. A canteen facility is also available on campus. All the labs have a LAN internet connection facility and centralised air-conditioners. Cricket ground, badminton court, basketball court, tennis court, and the gym are available on campus.

Faculty: All the faculty members of our college have a minimum of 15 years of experience in the teaching field. Faculty members are very helpful. They help students with their startups and projects. They arrange industrial visits to erase the gap between industry and students. The exams are conducted regularly.

It is the best college for engineering.

Placements: About 90% of the placements we have done are with very good salary packages, like 10 LPA to 20 LPA. The lowest salary package is 3 LPA to 4 LPA. The recruiting companies are Reliance Ltd, Adani, eInfochips, Tata Consultancy, Banaras Dairy, and Amul. The roles offered are process management, coder, and many more.

Infrastructure: According to a 2022 news report, LD College of Engineering has the greenest campus of all Ahmedabad colleges. The labs are good, with all boards and machines in working condition. The mess and canteen serve hygienic and delicious food.

Faculty: All teachers are very good in nature. They always help the students in any phase. They are GPSC qualified and very knowledgeable. Our semester exam is quite difficult because our teachers ask the GATE questions also. The average passing percentage of students is 89% to 90%.

You can take admission here without any hesitation because it is a good college in Gujarat.

Placements: About 100% of the placement is done for now. The highest salary package is 15 LPA, which is given by Reliance. Other companies are Arti Industry, Infosys, Adani, etc. The list is too long. They are providing an average salary package of 6 LPA to 7 LPA. The college provides internships at Tata, L & T, etc. If you have a company for an internship, they will also give you help to join the internship.

Infrastructure: We are staying in the L.D. College Hostel. It has the capacity to accommodate more than 5,000 students. It is a government hostel. The deposit is Rs. 3,000 and the yearly fee is Rs. 1,200. They provide the room, bed, table, chair, and cupboard only. You have to manage your food. There is a mess on campus. They provide food at a price of Rs. 60.

Faculty: Faculty members are too good at teaching. They all have Ph.D.s from IITs and abroad. They are UPSC and GPSC cleared people. So there is no doubt about their teaching skills. There are two exams per semester. One is the midterm, which is taken by faculty. The second is the end-of-semester university exam, which is taken by GTU.
