It is a good college. I have a good experience.
Placements: 50-70% of students get placements, but sometimes we need to do an M.Sc. in a specific course, so chances will be increased. The salary package offered ranges from 5-7 LPA, and it can be more when we complete our M.Sc. course. Mostly, food companies and NGOs hire students. If we are doing a dietitian course in the future, then we will have a 100% chance to get internships in a hospital and a private clinic. In this course, we can become a dietitian, fashion designer, event manager, human resource manager, psychologist, etc.
Infrastructure: The college has full AC labs and all facilities. The college has a food lab, chemistry lab, botany lab, and smart labs with projector screens. The library has all books, and comparatively, staff members and lab assistants. Classrooms are fully furnished and have air ventilation. Lights and fans are all good. The hostel rooms are good and clean. The food is also good. All medical facilities are available. There are 2 big grass grounds and one basketball court on the backside of the college.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and polite. Their teaching style is very nice, and we can understand everything easily. The course curriculum is very nice and we can see it on the official website of the college. We learn both practical and theoretical knowledge. If we attend classes regularly and study, then we can pass exams easily because there is more practical than theoretical. We can pass if we score 50%.
Other: There is an easy course and many career options. The college has one of the best fests in DU, i.e., Quintessence, and it's amazing. It conducts many social events, and many famous people visit the college.

Review of Lady Irwin College, University of Delhi.
Placements: 70% of students got placed in top companies with the salary package of 6 LPA -7 LPA. Nutritionist Ishi Khosla, top fashion designer Ritu Kumar, Nita Mehta celeb chief, and other celebs got passed from this college. It is a good college.
Infrastructure:
Our college has a beautiful and aesthetic infrastructure. Our college has many open areas, greenery, peacocks and other birds. Labs are neat. The canteen is good. Medical facilities are amazing. There are 2-3 lawns and a different basketball court.
Faculty: Our faculty members are good. They are understanding. The curriculum is amazing. Exams are of moderate level. They are very friendly and amazing. The course is very nice and provides us with very many opportunities for the future. The course curriculum has different subjects that helps to build out future. All subjects are very good. This course has a good scope.
Other: I am from B.Sc. Pass home science course. There are a lot of amazing fests happening, celebs like Ayushman Khurana and singers like Darshan Rawal have also visited here for events.

Best college for home science in Delhi.
Placements: There are plenty of internship opportunities available to students during and after graduation. Some of the areas where students can intern include nutrition, fashion, textiles, child care, and event management. Although there is no official placement cycle, students can approach their professors for references.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are good, the campus is green and pleasant, and the labs are well-equipped. There is a very big library, a canteen, a computer resources center, a medical emergency room, and a games room.
Faculty: The faculty were very knowledgeable and supportive, and the teaching methods were impressive and easy to understand. The course curriculum was designed to cater to every student and prepare them for industry. The semester process was also very transparent and fair.

Overall our college has very good faculty and management.
Placements: 20-25% of students were placed in our course. There were not very high placement opportunities given to the students. The average package offered in our course was 2-4 LPA. Top recruiting companies in our college were Group, Miraj, Skyhigh, etc. In our college, no students get internships at this college.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good facilities to the students. The infrastructure of our college was average. The college has facilities like Wi-Fi, library, labs, etc., on the campus. Each course has a different building in the college. The campus of the college was quite big and beautiful. There were sports facilities available at our college.
Faculty: Of course, the teachers of our college were well-qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality of the college was amazing. The course curriculum of the college was relevant. It makes the students industry-ready. Exams of the college were not very difficult to pass.

Our college has good infrastructure.
Placements: Our college doesn't provide good placements.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good facilities. There is a library that has all the required books. Our college has a photocopy room where we can get copies of books of our choice at a reasonable price. The college has all the necessary labs and equipment required for this course. Our college is located near the metro and bus stations.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is good. It provides good knowledge. It makes students industry-ready. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in it. It is a course with multidisciplinary fields like food, nutrition, fashion, apparel science, resource management, human development, etc. It is a good course. Scholarship facility is available in our college. Many events and fests are held in our college. Our college has many societies like NSS, Nrityanjali, Prophecy, Mukhauta, etc.

I am not satisfied with faculty members and courses.
Placements: Around 60-90% of students got placed in our course. Companies won't visit our college to recruit students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is average. Washrooms are not clean. Our college has a small basketball court, a library, a canteen, a medical room, etc. Our college is not clean, but it provides good food.
Faculty: Faculty members are not good. They want us to attend classes. They fail us if we don't attend classes. The course curriculum is not relevant. We have subjects like science, textile, nutrition, etc.
Other: Our college should remove non-relevant subjects. It conducts around 2-3 events. Our college conducts only one fest. Our college does not conduct extracurricular activities. It has an NCC club. Our college fee is around Rs. 20,000-25,000 per year.

This college will bring out the best in you.
Placements: There are no placements after completing a bachelor's degree. No internships are given by the college, but teachers give some information regarding internships in different fields.
Infrastructure: Facilities and the infrastructure are good. The college provides you with Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a well-developed library. The quality of food in the canteen is good and healthy. They provide good medical facilities. There are facilities for sports and games. You can join the sports society for better opportunities in sports.
Faculty: Teachers help you and try to clear your doubts on any subject. The course curriculum is fine, but it doesn't make you ready for the industry. You will have to opt for higher qualifications. Semester exams are not tough if you have a science background. There are different field trips that help you find your interests.
Other: The course is vast and helps you get a lot of knowledge about everything. The college has helpful teachers for learning new things. The festival is amazing. Popular artists like Ayushman Khurana, Mohit Chauhan, Shahid Malayan, etc., are invited to perform here. Scholarships are available for students. Extracurricular activities like dance, music, fashion, acting, etc. They give you a lot of experience and memories. The crowd on the campus is good. You will find the best of your friends at this college.

Best years of my life at Lady Irwin College.
Placements: Placements were good but many students pursued higher studies before going to placements. Faculty members also recommended students who have magnificent academic and extracurricular participation. Our senior got placed in various good companies such as Sarthak Educational Trust, Sigma Research & Consulting Pvt. Ltd., and APJ-SLG Law Offices.
Infrastructure: The library in our college had almost all the books essential for the course knowledge. The hostel facilities were not so good. The campus was beautiful and peaceful. It was within walking distance of the metro station. College provided abundant extracurricular activities to participate which was actually helpful in many aspects. The classroom was not so developed in the new structure. There were classrooms with the same old infrastructure.
Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive and good in our college. Practicals were conducted in an organised way. This college offered graduate courses in food technology as well as graduate and post-graduate courses in home science. There were highly experienced teachers. They try to provide you notes in pdfs which other colleges may or not provide. They make students learn and understand by doing things practically or by using ppts slides or in the form of videos and pictures. Internal exams were held once every month so that students got a perfect revision of whatever they've done so far. The exams were held after 3 months in the first semester. It was not that difficult to pass the exams.
Other: The three years of my life were enjoyable and worthy. I chose B.Sc. Home Science. The faculty of the college was very good and the faculty-student ratio was also accurate as I had 20 students in my class which a teacher can handle well. The college conducted the best annual fests and people from different campuses and colleges attend the fest. The college had many clubs and societies which were performed in an amphitheater and a big hall where every occasion was celebrated. The college had a sports society and an NCC group.

The cut off goes high for Lady Irwin College generally. So, it will be difficult for you to get admission in this college. Although, you should apply and wait for the last cut off. You may get a seat in last round.
