I am not satisfied with its placements.
Placements: Almost 2-3% of students got placed in our course. The lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 20 LPA. Only 1-2% of students got internships in our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average. Wi-Fi is available, and the laboratory is average. Our classrooms are better. The canteen facility is not good. Games and sports are not available.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is average. Our course curriculum is not good. This college does not provide the necessary practical skills for industry-ready. Semester exams are average but the checking is not good.

I was completely satisfied studying in Mahant Bachittar Singh College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: Placements of MBSCET were good but not great as they mentioned but students with high technical skills and knowledge could easily get placements. The highest salary package offered was between 5 LPA to 12 LPA. HCL was the top recruiting company. The top role offered was working as employee.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was remarkable. There were labs, lecture halls, different workshops, a huge library, Wi-Fi for students, two canteens, and a huge parking space. Hostels were huge and tidy. There were no Wi-Fi connections in hostels. Messes were average. There were no medical facilities available in the college. Game and sports events only occur when there was a fest.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college were highly qualified. They always helped students to overcome their weaknesses. They also help you to build your confidence and always motivate you. Semester exams were average and were not too difficult. The passing percentage was 40% and above.
Other: I chose the electronics and communication engineering course because of its demand. ECE engineers could fit into any stream. They can choose their field of interest. They can code and make their career in the IT sector. The syllabus of ECE was broad and flexible.

Review of Mahant Bachittar Singh College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: The college is taking a good initiative by inviting well-reputed companies like TCS, etc., to conduct campus placements, which results in the development of the students. About 40% of the students from the previous batch (2017 batch) got placed. As the students are performing well, the college has taken the initiative of conducting placement drives. The internship opportunities are average. Before the placement drive procedure starts, the director of the company first gives a brief explanation of the job and company.
Infrastructure: Overall, the infrastructure of the college is good. There are good labs and classrooms, which are fully ventilated. The toilets are hygienic. The labs and classrooms are easily approachable within a short time. There were separate rooms for discussions, and the faculty are also allotted separate rooms. The college provides Wi-Fi facility. The library is available on the campus, and students can take a book per semester. There is a canteen on the campus, and the quality of food available in the canteen is average. The college is clean, and the campus is filled with greenery. Lift facility is not available. Except for that, everything is okay.
Faculty: The students can not question the teaching ability of the faculty members as the teachers put their full efforts into teaching. They are highly qualified. They have completed their M.Tech or M.E, and some of them have even completed their PhDs. They have good teaching experience. Some of the teachers are qualified from major universities and foreign universities, and they have good knowledge of their respective streams.
Other: The college provides transport facility. The college organises fest every year, in which many college students participate in various extracurricular activities. I've participated in a singing competition. The scholarship is offered to the students from different scholarship schemes offered by the government. If students take admission through various schemes, the scholarships are offered to them.

The environment of the college has to be improved.
Placements: Getting a placement depends on you. Only if you perform very good, then you can be placed. If you don't represent your self, then there are no chances of getting placed. It is my suggestion, and the choice is yours. During your course, you have to work hard, and you have to prove that you are a good person and can do much better in the field work.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good, but still, some improvement is required regarding the infrastructure. The equipment is not properly working, which is a disadvantage to gain the knowledge, so there is a need for improvement. I request the college management to change it as soon as possible.
Faculty: The faculty are very good, and it is up to your character. Teachers will give their best if your character is good. So, it is my suggestion to behave well and gain respect, do not involve your self in any bad activity, else your character will get down, and you will not be able to get the respect back.
Other: It is a nice campus from the study point of view.

A better and the best college.
Placements: Only 1 company has come till date in my college during my 4 years and that too it was a management company. No Technical company has come till date in my college during my stay in the college. Although our seniors (only a few) were hired in the better companies like HP and Satyam Computers. If you want to get placed, then go for off-campus placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. We have different modern labs setup for different uses. We have smart classes also in every department. We have sports room available in our college. We have Wi-Fi labs which are fully functional. We have two canteens in our college, and the quality of food available is good. The hostel rooms are not that good but the quality of food prepared there is too good. The infrastructure-related issues were not faced at all.
Faculty: The quality of staff is not that good as a maximum of them have studied in our college and are teaching us now. They don't have industry exposure. Also, we don't have the industry exposure. The student-teacher ratio was 55:1 respectively. Although the teachers make you learn every aspect, they don't have the industry-level knowledge, nor they are quality researchers.
Other: From the last 1 to 2 years, the fest is conducted in our college. This year, the fest was awesome as there were singers' performances. Our college participates in sports activities which are held at the university.
