Truly satisfied and worth the money and hassle.
Placements: So, starting with 50 percent of the students were placed from our passing out batch in the Computer Science Dept. Top recruiting companies were Infosys, RVS, I global, CREDERA SHEMON, Software Solutions, Tata communication, etc. apart from these students, also got placed off campus in top companies like Google, Microsoft, QUALCOM, etc. Top roles offered for CSE were software developer, data analyst, and full-stack web developer. The highest package was around 10 to 12 lacs pa and the lowest package was 3 to 3.5 lacs pa, whereas the average package was 5-6 lacs pa. Around 20 percent of the students got internship in companies mentioned above.
Infrastructure: Well, the facilities for our college and infrastructure for our course are between average and high. By this, I mean we got pretty good facilities for academic and extracurricular activities, where as for infrastructure like classrooms, labs and libraries, it's quite remarkable. We have a WiFi facility 24/7. For hostels, I can't say much because most of the college has day scholars and the rest have their own PGs.
Faculty: This is one of the amazing parts of our college. The teachers are very qualified and knowledgeable, because even if our college compromises in extracurricular activities, it would never restrain in terms of academics. It is the No. 1 priority for them. The teaching quality and the capability of teachers to hold and withstand with students poor in academics are truly remarkable. The course curriculum is 90% relevant to what is required in the industry. Well, the college is directly affiliated with the University of Jammu so the semester exams are at the university level and competition has increased. The pass percentage is almost around the minimum of 40% in university exams.

Don't miss. There is a college you want to Kiss.
Placements: The companies that come to this college for placements are Infosys, coca cola, Bsnl, Vodafone, IBM, tvs, HCL, NIIT, ARMY, Emicon, HDFC, Sopra, Fujitsu, LLOYD, Yes Bank, Amazone, Satyam etc. The placements are being held in a very disciplined way and it is made sure that everyone in the placement is placed in their appropriate feilds.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the above mentioned college is good as compared to the other colleges. There is a lot of space in the backyard for games etc. There are different building blocks for different purposes like. For Admission, administration block. Academic block etc. The college is under good infrastructural conditions.
Faculty: There are different bra nches for engineering in this college and each branch has its own faculty. The faculty is extraordinary. The teaching department is at its best they ensure that every student is getting what they are trying to make them understand.
Other: Every year the college organizes a fest and there are games, events (technical as well as non technical) which are organized during every fest. Simply it is fun.

Pros and cons of MS College, Jammu.
Placements: Though there is an active college placement cell, there is a huge size of the placement staff. Also, no placement drive occurs in the college. The students have to get a job by themselves. The college doesn't have any tie-up with any company or the placement agency. Previously, they used to conduct the placement drives.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure-wise, it is the best college in Jammu with a very big campus. There is a state-of-the-art library building which has ample books, and there is an internet book facility as well. The computer labs are equipped with the modern systems having a good configuration. The classes and the labs are also up to the mark.
Faculty: Though the coursework in the college is outdated, it is a problem of Jammu University which needs to work and update it. The faculty is also cooperative, but most of them are not up to the standards of AICTE. Also, Singh college is managed by trustees, and many relatives of the trustees can be seen as the faculty.
Other: It is better for the management department of the college to work for the benefits of the students and indirectly work for the benefits of the college as well.

Other: Good college, excellent discipline, great facility, poor in events and activities. The management must interfere into the functioning of activities here and they should be done on regular intervals. The faculty members here are very encouraging and helpful in each and every aspect. They support you in whatever you do here. Overall I must say it's one of the best colleges in J&K.

Review of Mahant Bachittar Singh College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: Approximately 20 students from all the branches were placed. The highest package offered was 3 LPA. Only 2 companies came for campus placements. One company was Translab, and another was a Lucknow-based company. The placements in our college are not good.
Infrastructure: There are two computer labs in the CSE department, along with a seminar hall having a projector. The labs do have internet facility. There is the main library, and we do generally get books related to our course. There is a games room, but it is in bad condition and not equipped at all. There is a girls' hostel, and I've heard that the food is not that good.
Faculty: The teachers in my department were helpful. The HoD of our department was helpful. Teachers were qualified, but only some were knowledgeable. The course is relevant, but some additional knowledge or practical knowledge would surely be more helpful. The course needs to be updated a little, and some new subjects need to be introduced.
Other: I was interested in learning more about computers and programming. You get to know about the programming languages. The course needs to be updated a little bit. Some new languages and subjects need to be introduced. There are very few events conducted. The college fest happened once, and last year, the students are responsible for making it happen. They have to convince the authorities to conduct the fest.

Absolutely satisfied with the kind of discipline in the college.
Placements: Placement opportunities were good Approximately 20% students were placed of our senior batch The average salary offered to them was around 15000 to 25000 Many companies Indian Army and Indian Navy visited the campus There is a well functioning placement cell in the campus.
Infrastructure: The campus is having a well functioning Wi-Fi labs classroom and Library It also provided some transport services and medical facilities Games and sports are also given importance The quality of Labs in classrooms are not up to the mark There are many infrastructural development needed in the campus.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified helpful and knowledgeable. Teaching quality was fairly good. The teacher-student ratio is also fair and appropriate. The course curriculum was useful but there can be updation to the course curriculum according to the market needs.
